We were seated promptly, and our server came by after we had a few minutes to look at the menu. They offer standard, as well as French, options. I had the vegetarian breakfast, which comes with ratatouille, tomatoes, and half an avocado. They also offered a GF bread option (yay). My partner had an omelette. All the food was good, as was the service. They likely shine at pastries, which I cannot have due to the gluten. We'd stop again when in town.

The lady even asked if we wanted waffle fries, which we said yes. Sodas come in cans, so just an FYI for that. $29 later, we get home and so not impressed. Neither of us got our waffle fries. We were both looking forward to them as we drove home. The burrito tastes just of syrup. No chicken or waffle flavor. The spicy chicken only tasted of the ghost sauce, which was actually flavored very well. The jalapenos were spicy and crunchy. Again, the chicken has ZERO flavor. Very disappointing for a place advertising as a CHICKEN place. Go somewhere else.

Tea: the reason for my "minus one star" - they tried to serve me old tea- nasty! Imagine drinking old soda that's completely flat. Not cool to try and bamboozle a customer like that. Service: 3 young kids running this spot- glad that they were able to exchange my gross tea for a fresh tea. Ambiance: cute spot. Would i return?? Not sure.

I'm really not one much for ice cream, but I do like whatever is in ice cream if that makes any sense? All I'm saying is that ice cream has to have like brownies, nuts, bubblegum, and marshmallows and other bits and pieces of things to make it interesting.... We ended up getting a chili dog because I love chili dogs and sat there on their table for just a bit. I was so pleasantly surprised how nice it was and there's plenty of space outside and plenty of menus so people aren't huddled up trying to look at a small menu with small font. Plenty of space to order..and sit. The restaurant facilities seemed very clean inside, and the manager happened to take our order, who was very patient, friendly and answered lots of questions. Now I never have I ever really fallen in love with any particular ice cream, but I ended up getting the Butter Pecan and I requested extra nuts and they certainly gave it to me!!! I was just so so pleased!!! drove me nutty :) I don't live in New Mexico, but I certainly would drive back just to go and get more! We asked the locals where the best place was to get ice cream and they said hands-down go to Caliche's!!! We had a really satisfying experience, can't wait to go back.... highly recommend!!!
