This is the second time I have worked with David Rubinstein, and I am so pleased to report that it was even better than the first. David always anticipates the next step and has me prepared for whatever it is I need to do next. It is a pleasure to work with such a talented, smart Broker. He is certainly the most patient and intelligent Man I have had the good fortune to work with. read more

Our family had an excellent experience with ProMortgage. David and his team were incredibly responsive and went the extra mile to teach us the ins and outs of the process as first time home-buyers. Whenever we had a question, or a need for a new prequal letter, David and his team were there. I appreciated the level of professionalism and customer service they provided and am grateful that we went with them. Thank you David, Robert, and the whole team at ProMortgage. We will definitely be using you again when the time comes! read more

This review is long overdue! We started working with David Rubinstein in spring 2021 and finally got into contract on a home the following January as rates were beginning to increase. David and his associates helped us secure the best rate available to us just as all that started. We had some issues with our contract that make it all a bit tricky to navigate. The sellers' market and awkward timing with a long holiday weekend created enormous pressure in our case to enable what turned into an 18 day close, which we were told by others was basically impossible. But against all odds, David made it happen! In addition, he carefully walked us through all the ins and outs of the deal, which we really appreciated as this was our first time purchasing a home and we badly needed the guidance. Even though not all lenders could work within our truncated timeline, David was up for the challenge, and he got us an amazing rate! The contract went through without a hitch. He definitely put in plenty of long days to help make this happen, which we really appreciated as the sellers' market had tied our hands and forced us to move very quickly throughout the whole process, which we otherwise would not have done. We'd absolutely recommend David Rubinstein at Promortgage to anyone out there looking to secure a mortgage in these crazy times. Would definitely work with him and his team again! read more

First, David is a career finance and real estate professional who knows both businesses. Second, David helped us get good rates on two mortgages. He froze our loan at 3% just before interest rates rose earlier this year. Third, he's patient. He kept our good terms available while we wasted time on a loan from a bank. He communicates well and is very specific on the documents he needs, so there are no surprises at closing time. Highly recommend David and Pro Mortgage. read more

Words cannot fully describe how amazing David Rubenstein of ProMortgage is! He was highly recommended by our cousin, and we are now also huge fans of his. David is a can-do person! Despite all our obstacles and deficiencies, he found a way to help us afford our dream home. He worked quickly to make sure we had the funds ready so we could present a timely offer on the house we fell in love with, enabling us to compete with a competitive pool of bidders. He and our realtor formed "Team Davis" to get all the relevant parties working together and in constant communication, making sure we closed on time. On top of this, David is a joy to work with--warm, upbeat, positive, creative, tireless and committed to our success. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much!!!" read more

I have used Randi Ryan as mortgage broker for one purchase and two refis and she never disappoints! She can make escrows close on time, always finds the best lender, and makes the process of providing mountains of information as easy as possible. All with a smile on her face. I recently referred her to a friend buying a house. Both realtors were very impressed with the fact that she could fold a loan into a deal that closed in 18 days! read more

David came highly recommended by my lawyer. He was truly a very experienced broker that thinks outside of the box and care for the INTEREST of his client. I could not say it enough on how he assisted and found a loan that fit my needs. David is detailed and followed through with everything he promises. I love that he articulated things we discuss on email. During the loan process we encountered a problem and David not only resolve it but did it so calmly which in turn helped me stay calm. The Loan deal would have not materialized if not for David's persistence in finding something that fits me. I am so grateful for all his efforts during a very stressful time in my life and will continue to seek his services in the future when the time comes to restructure my Loan. David found an amazing loan program for me that even my ex asked to work with him and are currently working together. David is fun and professional to work with . Don't hesitate in choosing David for any of your mortgage needs. read more

Terrible terrible awful company do not waste your time or money or believe anything they have to say! They will seem nice at first but then become incredibly unprofessional and rude. They kept sending me emails meant for other people with their personal information included. They were just lost and clueless every time I spoke with them. We had them pre approve us guaranteed we would be approved for the loan thru the manager before we even began the process. Spent month and months and thousands of dollars getting our credit up to 580 once finally there they said they changed their minds now they need a 620 so we continued to work until we reached a 620 u guessed it now they need a 640 it is a never ending game with them what a joke! read more

We got a great rate and will close within 45 days. We worked with Paul. There were some bumps along the road and he would forget sometimes things that we told him, but in the end he made it happen at a time when the backlog is so huge so we are very happy. At one point, he would only email my husband and not copy me which seemed passive aggressive, but, hey, you don't need to date him only have him get you a great mortgage. And, that he works really hard at! read more

I can't say enough about the professionalism, perseverance, and out-of-the-box thinking of Randi Ryan. This is a lady who can get the job done. I handed her a formidable situation, and she took it every step of the way with such wonderful, positive energy, that we were able to close in an astoundingly short timeframe. Her contacts and judgment are top-notch, and she explains each element of the lending process with patience. You will be in great hands with Randi. read more

I have worked with Brenda at ProMortgage for years and have been consistently and thoroughly impressed by her professionalism, advice, and ability to execute. I have now handled a couple of loans, both new purchase and refi, through Brenda. Both transactions had a fair bit of complexity associated with them. Not only was Brenda able to execute straight through that, but she really has her finger on the pulse of the market, enabling her give counsel and advice at a level that in my experience is far beyond what you typically see with similar mortgage professionals. I have worked with other mortgage agents in the past and have found Brenda to be on an entirely different level from her Bay Area competition. I have come to think of her more as a partner and advisor than as someone selling a product. Beyond that, her follow-through post closing is phenomenal and really above and beyond the level of service you would expect even from a very good mortgage professional. Not only will I not hesitate to work with Brenda again on my next transaction, but I really can't imagine even talking to anyone else. No need to. She's that good. read more

My husband and I have turned to Pro Mortgage several times over the last 15 years for great service on mortgage loans. Brenda Cantu and her team also helped my mom get excellent terms on a mortgage in 2004. They know the Bay Area market inside and out and are masters at understanding just when to lock in for best rates. Compassionate, proactive, friendly service. We recently underwent a refinance and Brenda navigated us through many potential loan packages and helped us understand how the rates would best work to our advantage. She even helped us repair and improve our credit rating! We cannot recommend Pro Mortgage highly enough. read more

Over the years my husband and I have completed several mortgages, so I am confident when I say that Steven Oliphant is one of the best of the best. Not only did he get us a fabulous rate, but he was present throughout the entire process. He even helped clear up incorrect credit information that had been dragging down our credit score for years. It was a true pleasure working with a broker of Steven's immense experience and knowledge. While other mediocre brokers have dropped out of the mortgage business, Steven is a veteran that gets the job done! read more

Whether for home purchase or refinance, I would think of using no one else. Randi Ryan has been in banking for years and knows the business inside out. The fact that she has remained in business through the last upheaval should say it all. I can't say enough about Brenda Cantu. She has been so very patient, let me know of all available products and got me the maximum allowable. Refinancing isn't what it used to be! She still thanks me to this day. Tremendous work!! read more
