So I purposely packed and moved to Salt Lake City in the middle of the week with the intention of getting my fingerprints done in a timely manner while transferring my insurance licences from another state. It was a simple finger print session. The attendant was very nice. I signed in and was out in less than 15 mins.
I never thought twice that these two college educated individuals would cancel my appoinment be accident and not submit my fingerprints to the state. I had to get a letter from the state of UT that my fingerprints were not on file and my application was pending. I contacted Prometric's off shore customer service center, and had to argue with the cust serv Rep that I indeed was physically in the testing center and had my prints taken. The rep then contacted the testing center after placing me on a 15 min hold, and confirmed that I indeed had been there. The Rep then opened a ticket to find out why my appointment had been cancelled.
I could care less about the appointment and had to reach out to the testing center myself to have them find my prints.
There is no tracking system for fingerprints at Prometric.
I was given three differemt id numbers that may or may not be what is used in tracking my prints. My prints were resubmitted finally. 3 weeks after my appointment.
Now add three weeks for the state of Utah to drag there feet and I have been unable to work for almost 6 weeks, because some moran at the testing center screwed up.
Why must we follow up on people's jobs? You're a grown up show some responsibility, and do what your paid to do.
6 weeks, and no end in sight.
f.m.
I'll never go back to this sight, and I will check up on every single person and their duty if I am required to go back to Prometric for any licensing. read more
