I am getting the same calls over and over. I say NO and block but they call again. So many names from same ethnic background that I lose track. They call and beg and once I made the mistake of proceeding and never heard back. I ignore calls now but the email, text, invite on LinkedIn are incessant. It is predatory at best. The numbers are all 703 area (Virginia) and some are "scam likely". Names are changed in others to sound American. One was a locksmith in the ID! The job titles and requirements are ridiculous. The latest is pushing $21/hr remote for a Masters or PhD. There has got to be a way around this. Calls/emails/texts all day that are unprofessional and untrustworthy. The recruiters at ProKatchers are overly aggressive. They lack any form of pleasantries. They call not just once, but three times back to back. Then they text you. Then they email you. This business has already annoyed me 4 years ago and this time the experience was not so different. It took me a while to locate the company geographically because they specifically hide the information on their official website (http://www.prokatchers.com) but mama didn't raise no fool so after a little searching I found them on LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/company/prokatchers-llc/about) and Google. You can see ProKatchers is in Suwanee, GA. The reason why they should hide their location is beyond me. They probably do not want to be slammed by bad reviews but, either way, I can see that they got a good amount of slapping in the face since 2018. I received 2 messages from an idiot and incompetent wanna-be recruiter by the name Adarsh Tripathi. The area code for his/her phone number was 617 (Boston) so it's not even clear if AT is in MA or GA. The job title clearly indicated he/she has no understanding about job titles and levels. The job was another lame contract to hire requiring a 12 hour night shift for 3 days a week. Aside from the fact I do not entertain those crappy contract jokes anymore at my current level in my career, there is no way in hell I would ever work for 12 hour shifts. Will call you multiple times and will try to offer you jobs that you don't want. They had called me about a job that I was not interested in, and told them I didn't want my information submitted. A couple of weeks later I got a call from them stating the company from that job posting wanted more information despite me telling them I did not want to submit my info for the job. This job paid less than the job I had at the moment and the recruiter kept trying to push me to take it even though I kept telling him it would make no sense for me to take a job that pays less. I would like to compare this to a call center scam. Do they actually provide jobs, maybe? After 3 repeat calls and zero voicemails, then I get the email for a contract job. They inform me of the company they are hiring for, and I immediately woke up and got real leery. Abbott Labs is a huge company, and posts their own full time jobs via their website, LinkedIn, and Indeed. No reason to use an out of state staffing company, which I called them on. Columbus Ohio has no shortage of local recruiting firms. Then comes the defense....you are taking this wrong way, Abbott is multi state and contracts this out due to that.
