The shop manager, Eldin, was super nice and welcoming when I told him I was getting back into skating and had no idea how much the market had changed in the last decade and also in the middle of the pandemic (EVERYTHING is sold out online). I managed to grab signed two Thank You revenge and rampage decks in the exact 7.75-7.8 I wanted that were impossible to find online, let alone signed by Daewon Song. The second time around, I was looking for some low trucks and was thinking either Venture Lows or Thunders and Eldin was super cool and informative in talking it out with me. Decided to grab some Venture Low 5.2's (again, the exact size I was looking for!) and some China Reds. I came from the time of Shorty's Silverado hardware and was looking for whatever had silver and Eldin had actually suggested some blue Leftover Raccoon Allenheads and WTH I am so happy with them! It's been open since 1972, so all sorts of famous athletes have been associated with it. The shop is quite large and has everything from gear to apparel and is actually multiple levels. There is a small free parking lot in back, but street parking is also pretty easy to find. The staff was very friendly when I stopped in, and I was able to pick up a few items that I was searching for. It's also located just off the 101 Hwy and not far from the beach, so the location is really great. I would definitely suggest.

I was anxious to get a "real" board, but the guy helping us was kind enough to tell me to slow my roll. My kids are on Wavestormers and still getting a feel for it, and the guy suggested not to rush them past that stage. After about a week of using it, I decided it was time to get a high quality longboard and searched for a shop near my area. I found out about Stoked rideshop and continued to browse their site for around 2 weeks until I decided to drop by. The shop was a little hard to find but I ended up finding it. It's a warehouse at the end of a nice business complex area. I was greeted by Chris and Dave. I explained that I am a noobie looking for an upgrade from my Amazon longboard that my son kept taking from me. They gave me a couple options and I ended up buying a Landyachtz switchblade 38inch. While I was there, I ended up buying some bushings and some 85mm Orangutan caguama wheels so I can fiddle around and setup my board at home. They did not pressure me into anything, actually they had recommended another longboard below my budget but I wanted to go for something known for quality even if It meant spending more. The premises and actual warehouse was super clean and laid back. There are so many things to look at and buy. I ended up going back here 2 more times to buy a Landyachtz dinghy and evo 40. I heard great things about their online ordering, shipping, and customer service. Guess what? Going there in person is way better and it you are local of willing to drive, I guarantee you will leave with a smile on your face :) I am stoked to come back here in the future and love the longboards I purchased from here. My nephews, kids, and even my wife love taking my boards out. Sometimes leaving me with nothing to use. I only wish they would open on Saturday, but I understand these guys need the weekend to spend with family and shred the gnar haha

I brought my inline skates in for maintenance, and Kevin was fantastic. He's clearly a true technician who knows his craft. I could see the enthusiasm and pride he takes in his work as he serviced my skates, explained exactly what he was doing, and got the work done right away. Kevin is also an excellent salesperson. While I was there, I watched him help a customer who was purchasing a $200 pair of skates despite being a beginner. He was knowledgeable, patient, and clearly focused on helping the customer find the right equipment. BEWARE: This business sells dangerously defective products and refuses to stand behind them…read more I purchased a bike from this establishment that literally BROKE IN HALF during a simple 10-mile ride. I was stranded and forced to walk home carrying the broken frame myself. When I contacted the owner and provided proof of the damage, he initially refused to issue a refund and only agreed to have the manufacturer send a replacement after repeated complaints. Unbelievably, the replacement bike ALSO broke in half just a few months later. At that point, instead of taking responsibility for selling two catastrophic failures, the owner told me he had already "given me a free bike" and refused to refund me. Selling one unsafe bike is unacceptable, selling two and then blaming the customer is outrageous. This business clearly does not care about customer safety, product quality, or basic accountability. A bike frame snapping in half is not a minor issue, it is a serious safety hazard that could have caused a major injury or worse. I would strongly advise anyone considering purchasing from this establishment to take their money elsewhere unless they enjoy wasting money on dangerous products and being ignored when something goes wrong.
