We love how easy it is to schedule make-up classes via the website forms and adding a class is easy. They are really organized here! In the decade that we have been with this amazing studio, we have always had such a wonderful experience as both a rec and a competition family. We have participated in 11 recitals and in recent years, numerous competitions. In my experience they are all run like a well-oiled machine. They have rules and processes in place primarily to keep our children safe and to ensure everything runs smoothly and to create a great experience for the hundreds (thousands?) of students and parents. If you have common sense and are a decent person, it's not hard to understand why the studio runs things the way they do. ALL of the staff and teachers are exceptional and I love having the peace of mind that my children are receiving excellent training in a loving, safe and positive environment. This studio is truly my daughter's second home and there's nowhere else we'd rather be. We are so grateful for our wonderful dance family!

Other studios I've been to have either been too strict or too easygoing and baby the children. That being said, the ladies who run this studio are absolutely lovely (Ms Kelly and Carrie). My daughter is LEARNING the fundamentals of dance and has fun at the same time. The TDC community is very welcoming and supportive as well. Dance moms are not usually known for being the friendliest sort, and all of the moms and dads I've crossed paths with here have been so incredibly kind. It's a really nice place for kids to take classes. I highly recommend coach Kaylee and coach Talia. They are both amazing, and my daughter looks forward to going to class every week. She has made friends in class, and throughly enjoys being at this school. If you're looking for a dance studio, I highly recommend you try out a class.

Great dance studio!…read more My daughter is 2 1/2 and we attended a free trial of the Kindermusik class. It was a lot of fun -- she absolutely loved it. The class had a lot of energy and creativity through song and story telling, which is great for encouraging kids to use their imagination. The teacher was fun and energetic which made the experience even better. If the schedule works for us, we'll definitely be signing her up for more classes. I highly recommend trying out this dance studio! They offer classes for both kids and adults. Hopefully once things calm down with the kids, I'll be able to try one of the adult classes too. :)

I was hesitant about giving my money at that time because I was going out of town and wasn't sure when I would be able to take the intro class. Upon returning from my trip I got Covid. I received an email from Janell that my trial week had ended. Of course I was upset because I hadn't taken a class yet. She said: "SDC trials are non-transferrable and non-refundable. Your original trial was scheduled for 3/29. While we typically don't offer transfers, we made a one-time accommodation to shift your start date to 4/15, per your request. We reserved your spaces in classes throughout these two weeks, which closed the spots to other interested dancers. It sounds like our program may not be a great fit for what you're looking for in dance. We wish you all the best in your journey and if in the future you're interested in committing to 12 month program, please reach back out!" This place is a scam.

Its not just about choreography, its about building the muscles, the posture, the rhythm, the technique. It's a great place to actually learn. I see Janell's vision for her studio and it's perfectly curated to create this beautiful community I'm so glad to be a part of today. I was an absolute beginner when I started a few month ago, and I always felt so encouraged, and never judged. I can see how much I improved already after a few months. I can only recommend that you join this wonderful community of dancers at Spectrum Dance Center ! Also I love that we have so many performances, and amazing choreography to learn every class, it gives a reason to come back every week and have something to look forward to ! Thank you Janell

From the very first phone call to booking our first session, my friend and I felt completely at ease. We were searching for something recreational for our daughters to enjoy together, and as moms of girls on the spectrum, finding the right environment is so important and not always easy. After a not-so-great experience elsewhere, we were honestly a little nervous... but this studio completely changed everything for us. They went above and beyond right from the start, sending reminders about the tryout, letting us know what to bring, and even offering ballet flats and shoes to borrow so the girls would feel comfortable and included. That level of thoughtfulness meant so much. And then there's Mrs. Paris... truly something magical. She's the perfect balance of firm, professional, and incredibly fun. Her energy is contagious, and you can just feel how much the girls adore her. She's exceptional at what she does, using inclusive language, keeping the class engaging, and creating a space where every child feels seen and supported. The class itself is such a great mix, ballet in the first half and tap in the second and the girls were engaged the entire time. My friend and I kept looking at each other, just so proud and honestly a little emotional seeing our daughters so happy and thriving in that environment. It was an absolute no-brainer, we signed up that same day. If you're looking for a fun, intimate, and truly inclusive dance experience, this is the place.
