If you're looking for a dance studio that is welcoming, inclusive, and just genuinely special, I cannot recommend Creation Dance Studio enough. From the very first phone call to booking our first session, my friend and I felt completely at ease. We were searching for something recreational for our daughters to enjoy together, and as moms of girls on the spectrum, finding the right environment is so important and not always easy. After a not-so-great experience elsewhere, we were honestly a little nervous... but this studio completely changed everything for us. They went above and beyond right from the start, sending reminders about the tryout, letting us know what to bring, and even offering ballet flats and shoes to borrow so the girls would feel comfortable and included. That level of thoughtfulness meant so much. And then there's Mrs. Paris... truly something magical. She's the perfect balance of firm, professional, and incredibly fun. Her energy is contagious, and you can just feel how much the girls adore her. She's exceptional at what she does, using inclusive language, keeping the class engaging, and creating a space where every child feels seen and supported. The class itself is such a great mix, ballet in the first half and tap in the second and the girls were engaged the entire time. My friend and I kept looking at each other, just so proud and honestly a little emotional seeing our daughters so happy and thriving in that environment. My daughter just started going to Creation Station and we absolutely love it! The instructors are so so nice and inviting. The programs are really unique and perfect for my daughters -Princess ballet and tap dance?!? So cool!!! My almost 7 year old twin boys love dancing- and I was excited to give this place a try since they are around the corner from our house and they offer a lot of different classes/times. One of my sons can be a handful but ALL of the instructors are always generous, patient and inclusive. They love their instructors and never want to miss their hip hop class. We LOVE creation station! I love the fact that this dance studio is non-competitive. I'm not trying to get into a Dance Moms situation with my toddler just yet. All the teachers here are so great! We have met 3 or 4 different teachers and they all bring great, positive energy for the little girls. A couple things I particularly love include: 1. You have the choice of sitting in with your kiddo in the room or watching through the windows. If your kiddo is having a bit of separation anxiety, you can easily pop back into the class. 2. Not only is the dance instruction great, they also work on "waiting your turn," learning colors and numbers, and more. The teachers kinda work this in to give the kids even more than just dancing. 3. Make up classes are scheduled super easily. 4. They occasionally have big recitals and they are beyond cute! I absolutely highly recommend Creation Station! read more

Since earlier this year I have not took my child back since this company tried to scam me. The owner called me after my last bad review promised me a refund which I never got for the make up days I want able to make up due to me having to pay for the next month to receive the make up days. Which I did change the review but honestly they don't deserve a good reviews. What's sad is I drove far to that class for my daughter just to get robbed. read more

My 2 year old daughter has had 2 sessions at creation station and she loves it! It might be the teacher in me, but a teacher can make or break the class! Ms. Gabriella is amazing! My daughter did 6 weeks of the summer at another studio and she was excited at first but slowly starting participating less and less. The teacher at the other studio was not engaging what so ever and after 4 weeks did not know any of the girls names! Ms. Gabriella addresses every girl by name! My daughter runs to me during each class and says "mama this is so much fun! I love ballet!" Something she didn't say once about the other studio. I took my 18 months daughter to the free trial class even though she didn't much I decided to enroll her in hoping she will get into it , when I brought her for the official class she was just there sitting and was not excited about the class And I thought maybe it's too early for her to start this class I asked the manager to cancel the second course which is 83$ and finish what's left of 83$ she said she can't in order to cancel that I have to cancel the account basically I paid 83$ for free trial and if I wanted my 6 clases I had to pay another 83$ which is ridiculous !!!! If you are going to the free trial don't take any pressure from them if you see that you kid isn't into it don't pay hoping they will give you a refund , you will loose all your money and they will try to convince u that ur. We did lots of research prior to picking Creation Station in Tustin. It was everything we were looking for for our 2 year old. We've now been to two sessions and without a doubt, we're blown away. Ms. Elizabeth is so friendly and helpful, just very charming all around. Miss Celeste is the dance instructor for the day our babe goes and holy cow. She's absolutely incredible with the kids. Clearly very talented but beyond that is the perfect PERFECT medium between sweet pre-school teacher (tons of energy too) and assertive enough to get her point across. She does zero yelling or reprimanding at that; I need to learn this trick! We really couldn't recommend this studio any more. Love it, love them! read more

I haven't stopped smiling since going to my granddaughter's recital yesterday. She is 3 and started out a little shy, but by her second dance she was smiling and having a great time. I researched a few studios before deciding on Creation Station. I found most to be rigid and much too serious for a toddler. Creation Station, is concentrated on her having fun and learning to love dance. Miss Elizabeth, at the front desk is warm and always smiling. She greets all the children by name as they come in and couldn't be more helpful. My granddaughter looks forward to dance days and is learning as she goes. Her teacher, Miss Celeste is a saint. She deals with unruly children, distracted children and shy children without making them feel bad or disrupting the class. The prices are more than fair and it is a positive experience for all. First let me start off by saying I love this dance studio for both my son and daughter....Tustin location that is. I first requested a trial at the Fountain Valley location where my sister and friends took their kids for ballet and tap. My daughter (2 years old) had a hard time at the trial class but I wanted to sign my daughter up anyways because I wanted her to get use to being around people other than her family to prepare her for school later on. For whatever reason the girl at Fountain Valley charged me $21 for that class and the membership fee. I guess no trial and no paper work or anything for the sign up. The staff was pick and choose who they were friendly to. They were really nice to those who had signed up for a term or maybe been going there for quite some time with their kids. But since my daughter kept leaving the room and was clingy to me, maybe they were annoyed by her on her trial day? ‍ mind you my daughter is 2 years old...it's a difficult age. Anyways, things got better when I realized there was another location in Tustin which is actually further from my house. Mrs. Elizabeth was great the first time we met her. I told her about my experience with my daughter at Fountain Valley and she was extremely professional and said nothing bad about the other location but apologized for our experience. I know this is the right thing to do considering I am in the service industry and know it's not good business to bad mouth your sister locations or even competitions. She let my daughter have a trial class for ballet and tap that day and was very attentive to my daughter and any kids who had a hard time. My daughter was extremely comfortable with Mrs. Elizabeth and I ultimately signed her up for the term. Mrs. Elizabeth was also awesome and mentioned they had hip hop class for my son who was 6 at the time and now 7. She set him up for trial class and he loved it so much I signed him up too! What's so great is that you get a discount when siblings are signed up for classes too! Now the best part is the recital at the end of the term!!! I wasn't sure what it was about at first, but signed only my son up for the recital since my daughter has a bit of stage fright. Let me tell you all the performances from the Mission Viejo and Tustin classes were sooooo amazing! They were so cute and it was so worth signing my son up to perform with his class as well. What makes it that much better is the group of kids in his class. They all get along so well. Let me tell you though Ms. Gabriella, Ms. Celeste, Mrs. Elizabeth are amazing! They were the dance teachers I know of since my kids have worked with the 3 of them. The staff here at Tustin are awesome! LOVE this place:) We have tried other dance studios and it was not as nice as this one!!! My daughter is always so excited on the day of the class! Studio director here is amazing and we love all the instructors here especially Ms. Estella! They not only great at what the do they also very friendly and help me with my younger son while i am here waiting on my daughter! My daughter and niece comes here for their pip hop with tap. They enjoy it. My husband and I like it as well. We like the fact that teachers are so well involved or interactive with the kids. We like that they mix it up and you dont have to do the same class whenever you need to do a make up class. It seems like the kids are more free to express their mood or feelings through their moves. Our daughter has been coming for approximately 3 months now and loves her classes. She's enrolled in the Princess Series ballet/tap class as well as the PipHop class and gets excited for both each week. She even dances around our home practicing the movements and also enjoys teaching me the moves and lingo. She's learned so much so fast and I truly feel it's boosted her confidence in her abilities. She had a great time at the recital last week, as did my family and me. Her eyes were gleaming with happiness on stage! It made my heart warm. Elizabeth is so friendly with the parents and is just fun to talk to during classes! Gabriella has been my daughter's teacher, and she is phenomenal.
