04 August 2011 Outstanding customer service After much searching of the NET for a Guild F-50 jumbo acoustic, and with much regret, apologies, and excuses, from numerous music stores. I called Project Music and spoke to Dane, (the manager of the store) who explained that there would be no problem whatsoever with the order but the Guild F-50 would have to be imported from the US and would take approximately six to eight weeks from order to delivery. There were regular E-Mails from the store with updates regarding the order. The guys there are extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable, and true to their word, the guitar arrived six weeks from the time of ordering, having been professionally set up to my requested specifications. I was contacted by Dane a few days after the delivery as a follow up, to check if all was ok, and that the guitar was to my liking. Exeter is lucky enough to have 2 of the best guitar specialists in the country. Both Manson's and Project music have a superb range of guitars and goodies. I personally prefer project as I have always found them to be easier to deal with and better on price. I used to live in London and thought I would miss Denmark street but I was wrong. Exeter is a great place to check out cool new gear. I particularly like Project Music's wall of PRS and I played the new Custom in a vivid red with a figured top the other day and I want it. if you want a PRS you will find no better range on offer in my opinion. read more

Insulting staff, inept repair quality. AVOID! Took my guitar in for repairs, still faulty, took it back, they managed to create another fault. They then quibbled in the shop and after giving me my money back (which was a struggle in itself) I was told to f*ck off by the sales assistant in front of their customers. These guys obviously don't cope well with hot weather (or they don't need the custom) and I had previously heard bad things about their workshop but decided to chance it. Pathetic. Just received my new guitar from project music and I am very pleased with the service. Arrived next day delivery and had the guitar within 20 hours of ordering it. Guitar was setup before dispatch and it sounds very impressive. I will definitely use project music again. read more

I just got myself a great deal on a martin D 28 from these guys. i had a specific way I wanted the guitar set up to match the tuning i wanted to use, and they got the guitar spot on. I will use them again and only have good things to say about them read more
