I'm based in Seattle and like many…read moreothers, I chose LearningFuze because it had consistently the best ratings across all boot camps. I was in the program from January to April 2020, so everyone was remote and I did not feel left out for being in a different state at all. Cody and Tim Davis were my main instructors and they were fantastic! Really kind and helpful, but at the same time, they provided realistic expectations as to what it's like to be a new developer. I thought the curriculum was well-curated and pretty easy to follow. After graduating, TJ and Cass were extremely supportive and always available, which was helpful for me in securing a job after the program. I read a review that mentioned racism towards Asian females - I just want to mention that in my personal experience, I did not feel any sort of racism towards me (and I am an Asian female). If you are a female, I highly encourage you to apply for a Women in Tech scholarship (if there is one available) because that can really bring down your tuition! One thing to keep in mind is that attending LearningFuze or (any other boot camp) does not guarantee that you will get a job after completion. I have seen many students graduate from the program and then lose motivation and stop coding permanently. The staff at LearningFuze can only do so much to help you and support you with your job search - you have to have the determination to continue practicing and be able to go through the interview process on your own. But if you are willing to take on the challenge of transitioning to a new career as a developer, LearningFuze is the best choice out there!

Making the decision to attend LearningFuze was honestly one of the best decisions I've made in my…read morelife. After researching 10+ bootcamps and much deliberation, I decided to apply for LearningFuze. After passing the technical assessment, I was accepted into the program. Please keep in mind: you will only get back what you put into the program. You'll be pushed and stretched beyond your limits. Get used to being uncomfortable and feeling lost, because that's the only constant you'll have during the 14 weeks of this program. It's not going to be easy, and you may doubt yourself throughout the whole program, but trust the process. The instructors have your best interests at heart and really want you to succeed. Make sure to ask as many questions as possible, study your flash cards, and really take the time to understand your JavaScript fundamentals. LearningFuze also has a great alumni and employer network, and they really go out of their way to help you prepare to find employment after graduating. TL;DR - You only get as much as you put into the program. They have great instructors and career services. Also, make sure to do some self studying of HTML/CSS/JavaScript prior to the program, so it's easier to pick up the concepts.

Review for PE Civil Seminar: first off Dr. Chepalati is an adorable man and very nice, however, I…read moredid not enjoy him teaching class. He did not explain the material very well and it was often times hard to understand him. All the other professors were easy to understand and went over the important material. Some were much better than others, but most of them were very helpful and always provided contact information in case student had questions. The manuals provided with the class are set up nicely for review prep. I also liked that the material was streamed and could be accessed at any times after the classes were given. I believe if you do not pass, you can retake the course at no extra cost. This location was tricky to find at first, over in the corner near the deli and salon. Ample parking and clean facility.

You literally give up your life for about three month just studying, even then it doesn't feel like enough. I chose Irvine Institute because it was the most cost effective of all the courses I looked at, and boy was that a bad idea. I hate to badmouth because this is a profession I will be in for the rest of my career. Yet I cannot to injustice to my peers who are struggling, doi g whatever they can to achieve success in passing the PE. Therefore, terrible instructions, most of what was covered was not on the exam, they provided no strategy for passing. The worst thing, and the main reason I decided to step forward was on one of the slides, it mentioned you have to starve the pump (obviously a pump/pipeline problem), and on the slide was a picture of a famished little boy. This was very distasteful. Not only did I find this disgusting inappropriate, I also didn't pass the PE that time around. I did get better instruction elsewhere, so for my aspiring engineers I cannot recommend this place for PE instructions.

During the course, there were multiple last-minute changes, including in-person skills days being rescheduled the night before, which made it difficult to plan and take the program seriously. After completing the program, I submitted my LVN license on April 27 and requested that my certification be sent and posted to the Department of Consumer Affairs (Breeze) as required for employment. I received no response. I followed up again the next day and still received no reply. Because of this delay, I have already been denied multiple job opportunities since employers require the certification to be visible on Breeze. Only after multiple follow-ups did I finally receive my certificate, but it still has not been posted on the DCA website, which continues to impact my ability to secure a job. The lack of communication and delayed processing is unacceptable, especially when students are relying on timely certification for employment. This experience has cost me real job opportunities. I would strongly advise future students to consider other programs that are more organized and responsive. Also, I have an email stating that this was a three day course, I asked for the days off, and I already referred many people and paid, during the first day of class I was told this was a 4 day course and had to call out of work. I was also charged two times for this course and asked for a refund and received no reply, I had to open up a dispute with my bank. This school is very unorganized and they overbooked our class.
