So far so good. I went on the website and did some research about the programs they offer, I went…read moreto inquire about the fire program but I saw that you have to have an EMT certification before you can apply so I called in advance to make sure the advisor would be there and I spoke with Daniel, he was AWESOME and extremely welcoming. I'm prepared all documents needed to get my application Daniel also explained every single page of the application which was nice. He made the process very smooth as well as I came dressed according to their policy on the website. I'm extremely excited to start the EMT program in June with my next goal to enroll into their fire 1 and 2. Watching the recruits do their drills was MOTIVATING!! I can't wait to see what is in store for me.

I ended up behind the building where the advisor was and confronted by a man named "Dan" who rudely asked "WHY ARE YOU HERE!?!?!" and why my Uber was on his "soil" I kindly responded that I was here to meet with an advisor, to which he responded "WELL THE BUILDING IS RIGHT THERE!". I told him he did not have to speak to me in that manner and he told me "with an attitude like that maybe you shouldn't come here, you should leave". I am an African-American Women so I'm pretty sure he assumed I had an attitude based off my race and painting me out to be "The angry black woman". After I spoke with the advisor, I explained to him what happened and he told me "Dan told me what happened, it was just miscommunication". I then spoke to the chief who seemed VERY Nonchalant about the situation and seemed to not care or believe me. I will not be coming here, I did not feel welcomed and I felt discriminated against.

However, I tried to reach out on several occasions regarding the wording on my certificate. My employer requested that either a letter or a revised certificate be provided. I understand that this may be asking a lot, and may not be possible. Regardless, a return call, email, and/or text would have been very helpful. Apparently, they do not respond to those who are not affiliated with their programs. At least I am hoping that is why I never heard back. Now, the money i spent on that course is now wasted, because they didn't help me with 1 word. I will not be using their services in the future, and I hope my review serves as a warning to others.

This school is all about taking your money, and that's it. From the start, I was misled and given…read moreincorrect information. I had a counselor named Aileen who was completely clueless. I was advised to take the Wonderlic and HESI tests to apply for the dental hygiene program, then immediately charged $100 once I passed, just for the application. They also insisted I pay $10 to have my transcripts sent through their system. When I mentioned I had most of the required pre-requisite courses because I already have a bachelor's degree, Aileen never told me that credits older than five years wouldn't count. This didn't make sense to me, especially since I hold a college degree. As a result, I would have to pay $80,000 for the entire dental hygiene program--money that I could've saved had I been given the right information upfront. The whole process felt disorganized, and I spent so much time studying for the HESI test unnecessarily. After I realized the program was going to cost so much more than expected, I requested a refund for the $100 application fee. Aileen ignored my calls and emails, but when she wanted my money, she was always quick to respond. I eventually had to track down someone else to get my refund. This school cares more about collecting fees than actually supporting students. I would strongly advise staying away from this place. There are much better, more transparent options out there.
