Let me preface this by saying this is the first bad review I've ever written, but it must be said…read more I would rather work out naked in the middle of the Arctic Circle in the dead of winter than ever step foot in this gym again. I signed up for personal training sessions, which turned out to be quite worthless but could perhaps have some value if you don't know how to use the internet and have never exercised in your life. My trainer bailed on me twice after I was already at the gym for our session. Trying to cancel has been a complete mess. There is a 30-day cancellation clause -- understood. I called to cancel on January 21 -- 31 days before my next bill would be paid. The manager told me he submitted the cancellation and I would not be charged again. He didn't tell me that this was actually not true, and that the cancellation would not be in effect until I signed paperwork in person. He did say to come in and sign the paperwork whenever I could, which is easier said than done because I had to sign it with a manager present, and that dude seems unable to return a phone call. Seeing that I was billed again a month later, I went in to talk to someone in person. They told me to wait for the manager, who wasn't in yet but "better be soon" because their shift was almost over. I waited for him to come in and explained the situation, signed the paperwork, and he told me that I would not be charged again. You'll never guess what happens next...... I was charged for another month. The same day my trainer told me that he quit and would be in touch with next steps. Guess who never heard any next steps and is now paying for sessions with a non-existent trainer! Meeeeee :) So I call again to get this sorted out, and after several calls because the manager did not call me when the front desk person said he would, he told me he would submit a request for refund. Somehow in the course of a couple of minutes, he underwent some remarkable mental gymnastics to change his mind -- I could not be refunded, but he would give me ~~~ one comp session ~~~, as though that would be worth the two months I paid in sessions that I did not want. I said no thanks. He said he'd have the regional manager get in touch, then hung up before I could ask for her phone number. Upon calling AGAIN, he said that he couldn't give me her information but that he would /pass my email along/. Also the smoothies are bad.

Okay, this is a really convenient gym. This place is freaking HUGE and has SO MUCH EQUIPMENT. They have plenty of treadmills in multiple locations (you're nervous about being in the open? No problem they have some in a back room), but I'm more into weights - I love that they have every type of weight to choose from, plenty of racks, AND they have so many individual pieces of equipment. Sometimes free weights/racks make me nervous, so having individual machines is freaking awesome and the ease of use is so much better. They have multiple spaces, including a back room that is pretty secluded which is perfect for new people/for stretching. They also have balls, steps, small weights, etc back there. They truly are an all encompassing gym. My only complaint (some people don't care about this) - it is very overwhelming for women AND for those of us that aren't SUPER fit. I will not come in here without my fiancé because I'm too nervous haha! It's....a lot. There's a lot of really fit people and coming from a small planet fitness, this is a lot to take in. Overall, great location. The equipment seems to be kept up nicely, and there's something for everyone.

Sketchy parking lot.my trainer didn't allow sessions to roll over so if you were out of town, you'd have to agree on another time to come in and sometimes it just didn't work out or you came in while he was training 2-3 other ppl. The atmosphere, community, and workouts are all fantastic. There are several options of membership but I'm on the 6 months unlimited classes. Considering I go 5-6 times a week, it is well worth it!! There's a great range of classes for strength training, and my go-tos are TRX, CardioStrong, and Lift. The trainers are great, and with their upcoming move to a new location, more trainers are in the works. This is a women's only gym so you never feel judged or uncomfortable, and since everyone's ages and fitness levels range, everyone is incredibly supportive. People are friendly and will always encourage you! My personal fitness level has drastically improved, with small changes like increased flexibility, to big changes like more energy during workouts and way more strength. This is the best decision I've made in years, and I truly encourage you to check out Dragonfly, you won't regret it!
