As soon as I walked in I was hit by an amazing aroma, and the staff informed me it was the smell of WAFFLES! Wait, WHAT? I walked out of there with a healthy and delicious protein-packed cinnamon roll waffle for breakfast. I will definitely be back!

    Review #105 (The Daily Spot)…read more Location: 10904 N May Ave, OKC, OK 73120. They are across the street from Hopscotch Restaurant and Bar. Business Info: This is an Herbalife Nutrition and Energy Shop that specializes in healthy protein shakes and energy teas, protein bars, and other food items and snacks. They have meal replacement options consisting of the Herbalife protein powder mixes that can be used to make shakes, donuts, and waffles. Their Grand Opening was Wed, 15 Sep 2021. Hours: M-F: 7am-7pm Sat: 9am-4pm Sun: 11am-4pm Shakes: they offer various flavor options like fruity, coffee, chocolate, peanut butter or dessert based. You can buy healthy add-ins like the Lift-off for extra energy, nitric-oxide, probiotics, etc, for a few dollars more. Teas: there are different tea options based on what you're in the mood for. They offer Mocktail flavors based on popular cocktails, candy, fruity, and tropical summer/beach based. You can also get the healthy add-ins in your teas just like in your shakes. Other food: They make mini donuts and sell them 3 in a container and alternate what toppings they put on them. They also do waffles and will make whatever flavor you want from the protein mixes. My experience: I got the Rainbow Colada energy tea with tropical flavor extra lift-off. It was a raspberry color and very tasty especially in 95 degrees on a hot OK Sep day. I got the Fruity Pebbles shake. It was light beige in color. When the woman handed it to me, there were no fruity pebbles on top like in their IG picture. So I asked "are there no fruity pebbles toppings?" The woman went back and put candy sprinkles on it, not fruity pebbles. Not what I expected, but I didn't complain. It may seem stupid, but many people want that colorful, food or drink item to make their pictures bright and fun. Not a biggie, as long as they don't do that automatically for other customers. They could ask if you want the toppings, and some might choose not to have any so they keep the Shake healthy without toppings. But some may want it for a little bit of a healthy, protein dessert. I also got waffles and chose the Orange Creamsicle protein flavor. I got cinnamon chips and syrup for the toppings and took it to go. The taste is light and airy and not heavy like regular flour waffles. Staff/service: The owners and/or managers were very friendly and helpful and the staff were also nice and helpful. They greeted me when I entered and when I left they said thank you. {Posted on Mon, 20 Sep 2021}

The shop is in a corner to the back of a small business plaza to the right of WalMart Neighborhood Market and across the street from McDonald's. Business: Bomber Nutrition started about 5 years ago, using HerbalLife Nutrition protein meals, teas, and snacks. Hours: Sun: 10am-3pm Mon-Fri: 7am-3pm Sat: closed Shakes/Teas: They provide a multitude of options in mixing and blending different flavors of protein shakes or healthy teas. They also offer coffee shakes or iced coffee. Nutrition Bars: They have a few protein bars on hand. Design/Layout: they have 3 seating areas, one to the front with coffee table and chairs, another where you order along the counter space with barstools, and the third to the back with a couch, coffee table, and a small table. Other info: They have a rewards program using your mobile phone number. The woman working was very friendly and helpful. I decided not to eat anything today but fruit and the protein shakes, so I got the Lemon Pound Cake for mom and Blueberry Dulce for me. They were good; although I couldn't taste the blueberry flavor after drinking half of it, but it was still good. Parking: they have plenty of parking spaces in the corner although they're at the bottom of a big hill so some of the spaces dip down so go slow so you don't scrap your bumpers. I found out about The Spot when a girl's night craft event they're hosting this Friday popped up on…read moremy FB. So I figured I'd stop in for lunch and see what these teas and shakes were all about. Small little corner shop located on Ferris between Cache and Sill, right beside the old theater. Exterior isn't flashy, just white sign on the curb out front and a decal on the door. Inside is very modest , but hip decor. Bright and clean. All they have are protein shakes, "teas", and a couple other high protein type drinks/snacks. I'm not really hip with the Herbalife stuff, but I guess that's the line they use. So I got a combo for a shake and a "tea". I keep saying "tea" because it definitely didn't taste anything like tea. But they use herbal tea extract then add in the healthy stuff (I'm assuming it is healthy but like I said, I dont know anything about Herbalife..) The teas come in levels (1-3) based on what additions go in. (I posted pics of the menu, the descriptions are there.) I went with a Level 2 Freedom tea. I'm not really sure what was in it or what flavor it was.. but it was tasty. Dark reddish on the bottom layered with something blue on top. And it was slightly fizzy, like a sparkling something. The shake was a strawberry cheesecake flavor. It had the classic slightly gritty/chalkiness typical of protein shakes, but the flavor was spot on. I had absolutely no trouble swallowing down every bit of it. That's all I had for lunch today. For just $11 I was completely satisfied with no hunger cravings until dinner time. And no after lunch laziness either! I was energized the rest of the day! It's so easy and convenient and feels so much healthier than a fast food drive thru. It's probably my new lunch time go-to.

As I walked in the door I looked to the right and said I do not need a basket so I kept walking big mistake and I already know how I am. I was looking at the already prepared meals that they had and I was trying to figure out what type of meat it was in there and the lady at the Deli department was kind enough to move to the end of the counter and tell about those meals and tell me there was more on the other side that may not pork in them. Then I moved do to the produce area and I found a huge mango and I was like I am getting this cutting it up, mixing it with my pineapples for my after workout pick me up. Then I found some water with the cutest bottle so absolutely had to buy that just for the bottle of course. Finally made it to what I went in there for my vegan butter yes! As I was walking through the store had a.couple of the workers ask me if I need any help it was great. Indulged in some aged white cheddar skinny pop which is not bad per se but I will eat the whole bag in one sitting but don't judge me its skinny pop.oh yeah did yall know pickle juice helps with muscle cramps? Didn't know until today. Now let me tell you the front of the store took me by surprise you know how these stores have all this junk food? Nope not this store I was in heaven all kinds of beef sticks and jerky from turkey, chicken, venison and of course i got venison that is a must and one of them had a coupon on it for a $1off so I got 2 for $3 and I had a great cashier named Keagan or Keanan sorry.
