I was disappointed to find no topicals here, as that's what I was looking for the day I came in to…read moreshop. (My husband of twenty-five years has a sometimes crippling case of sciatica, and indica-based topicals always work well for him. They not only relieve the pain and inflammation, but also help him to get some much needed sleep. Such topicals also stop any back spasms he often gets during his sciatica attacks.) The owner was very friendly, though, and was quick to point out some strong indica flower for me to try. (May have to make some topicals of my own, I suppose. I think I can do that with my Magic Butter Machine. Dunno -- will look into that. Hubs refuses to smoke, and most tinctures make him gag. As for ebibles? Well, suffice it to say that I always have to remind him that ONE gummy is OK, but that two or three is gonna be WAY over the top.) I grew up in Canadian County, Oklahoma, and still giggle more than just a little when I think about El Reno now having its own cannabis dispensaries. (This is an awfully conservative town in most ways -- lots of danged ol' Baptist churches and other Rethuglican bullshit spread all around.) It's nice to know that I can come here when I'm visiting family and be able to utilize my med card. (Oh, and pop in for a Coney Island downtown. I never forget that part. Extra mustard and chopped white onions on mine, please!)

Outside, they have a chalkboard listing their daily specials. All of the staff that I've met so far are all friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the items they have for sale. As soon as you walk in, there is merchandise surrounding you everywhere you look. In the front room where everyone is welcome is CBD products, shirts, socks, home decor, pipes, bongs, lighters, jewelry and also CBD products for pets. In the next room is where you have to show your medical license to enter. Inside, there is flower pre measured in bottles, edibles and other nick nacks. Joe and Melody Horton, the owners recently had an ATM put in to make it more convenient for customers. I like to come in ever so often just to see new merchandise they have. Today we stopped in to get some flower and also some CBD products. The lady working didn't know that all 3 of us were together so she told my daughter and I that we had to stay out in the hallway in order to follow the distancing rules..it was nice to know that she's keeping the place safe during the coronavirus pandemic. I really wanted to get a cross that I saw while waiting and look at the new jewelry, but there was already a line behind us so we paid for our items and left. Those other items will just have to wait for another time.

(Found some info on Leafly, though, as I knew I'd be stuck in Wa-Honkin-Tonga for the day and wanted to plan ahead.)
