    Room for line dancing!

I celebrated my 60th birthday at Prohibition Cellars and it was everything I could have hoped for. The space worked beautifully for our group of about 55 people. We started the evening in the tasting room with wine, beer, and heavy appetizers, which created such a fun, welcoming atmosphere as guests arrived. Later in the evening we opened the back room for dancing, and the flow between the spaces worked perfectly. Vi, the Events Manager at Prohibition Cellars and owner of Noel & Nosh Charcuterie, provided the grazing table and was wonderful in helping coordinate the entire event. She was incredibly helpful throughout the planning process and made everything feel easy and organized. The food was beautifully presented and truly delicious -- guests are still talking about it. Between the great wine, the food, and the flexibility of the event space (we even had a DJ and line dancing!), it ended up being the perfect venue for a milestone celebration. I'm so glad I chose Prohibition Cellars and would absolutely recommend it for private events.

It's hard to believe we almost missed this tasting room. Tucked away in the far corner of the industrial district is Prohibition Cellars. They're a small family owned winery serving up delicious reds, whites, and Rosé spritzers. Their red wines are named after famous mobsters and notable figures from the prohibition period. The space a mix of industrial and natural wood design. Their main wall is actually a secret door which opens up to their back room. They even have a piano from the prohibition period. There's an outdoor patio seating area which is perfect for the upcoming summer months. We got a quick introduction on how they make their wines. The owners journey from their humble beginnings of de-stemming grapes in their small garage to a full blown business is incredible. I tried a mix of whites, reds, and even their Rosé. My favorites were their Syrah (Scarface), The Untouchables, Red Mountain Cab Sauvignon, and Rosé. We walked away with a few bottles to add to our collection. This tasting room is definitely worth the visit. I am definitely considering a membership and I may just sign up on my next visit.

Good wine. This was my second visit to celebrate my birthday with a group of friends. Their wine tasting is expensive, so we settled for glasses of wine instead. Did not disappoint. Beautiful ambiance with some eclectic art display and great service.

    What mediocre looks like.

They have a patio area with covering and indoor seating. For our visit, we opted to sit indoors and take a break from the heat. Staff were very friendly and confirmed our reservations and seating. This tasting room does have a kitchen, pizza oven, and offers various bites to pair with their wines. They also have a frosé machine featuring their Oldfield Estate Rosé with fresh strawberry purée and a Pinot Grigio with an Aperol float. Their wine tasting line-up features 2 whites and 4 reds. We ordered a bottle of their Big Papa Cabernet Sauvignon, Rosé Frosé, Pinot Grigio Frosé with Aperol, and a pepperoni pizza to share. The pizza was delicious. Cripsy thin crust and freshly made. The Cabernet Sauvignon was robust, earthy, and notes of fruits and spice. This wine paired well with the pizza. The frosé was refreshing and the aperol float made for a wonderful summer drink. Service was top notch. Water refills were frequent along with check-ins on our experience. Efeste also has a Sodo tasting room and both locations are offering a special called Wine and Dine Duo. The special price is $30 and wine pours are the Adrienne, Babbit, Paulie, Ceidleigh. We'll definitely return for a proper round of tasting and maybe explore a membership.

We wanted to visit Woodinville and specifically support Black-owned wineries and she is the only one. Visiting her was so endearing. She took the time to teach us about her winemaking, the types of wines she makes, and we tasted several times. We purchased bottles for our home cellar of: Sauvignon blanc Riesling Syrah Her passion for winemaking is palpable as is her wealth of knowledge. Visiting with and meeting Nicole is so comfortable to wear you want to stay longer. Support her business. Purchase wines and she is so honest about costs and the best time to ship to certain areas of the country. Her wines last for seven years and use less sulfur content since she has a sulfur allergy. I appreciate that. I appreciate her representing for the culture in the Seattle area.

Shes greets people at the door with her beautiful smiling face. Not a lot people do that anymore. I am big on customer service and this was outstanding, the flavors of a sinful red wine stood out with a taste so divine. Paring the cheese was so satisfying (really really good cheese) with the fig jam(so good) and crackers were a great complement to the wines it was delicious. Definitely try Lashelle wines you will be so impressed. I am thrilled Nicole is creating such incredible fine wines..Fyi She also has a membership club...Visit with her and have some good conversations and laughs. Thank you Nicole for your excellent customer service!!!!I'll be back.
