Fine, not a big deal, it happens. This morning I was supposed to pick up my prescription for antibiotics, so I called CVS, and the prescription wasn't sent. No big deal again, but I called the doctor's office to check in at 9:30 about this and nobody called me back. I call again in an hour asking for my antibiotics, and again, the woman who answered said "she sent the message to the MA, and she doesn't know what else to tell me." I called AGAIN in another 30 minutes, this time threatening to come in myself and start a scene, and ONLY then, did I get a prompt call back one minute later saying they sent my prescription. Not to mention, Dr. Ingwer hung up on me last night. This is by the far, the most unprofessional office, I have ever dealt with. Dr. Kamal is an absolute sweetheart and it's really upsetting that I can't go anymore, because she is a fantastic doctor, but the arrogance and complete disrespect of the staff is enough for me to never come again. I've gotten more respect and speediness from the local urgent care center in my neighborhood than from my regular doctor's office, and that's honestly disgusting.

Tells me during a visit 5 months later they are "very intense medications" (former PCP never once said that in the prior five years on them) then she says she won't prescribe them anymore. So they are "intense", but cuts them off???? No weaning off of them???? Tells me this five times in a period of two minutes. I told her I understood. I couldn't get a question in either since she just kept repeating the same thing and she was obviously in a huge rush. I looked up going off them cold turkey and it is "very, very dangerous" to do so with these particular meds. What a great doctor! STAY AWAY!

The garbage was overflowing (with items that looked like were from a procedure) there were crumbs and dirt on the floor, and there was some weird orange powder all over the floor and the tubes and garbage can looked like they had never been cleaned. I waited another 30 minutes in the room before coming out and asking how much longer it wld be and the girl at the desk said hes in a room and then had one more room to go to before mine. I went back in and decided it doesnt matter how good he is if he was ok with his exam rooms being that filthy I didnt want him touching me. When I asked "I thought copayments don't apply to annual physicals?" the front desk person said "this is your first time here" Again, billing insurance for billing sake. Saw a nice young medical assistant who had great bed side manner and took my details on a computer just moments after I wrote the same on the intake forms. Performed EKG. I never understand why doctor's offices do not read the forms. Dr. Abrash, entered to perform the physical. He appeared to be "phoning it in". Minimal bed side manner. He performed a complete physical. He did not explain EKG reading to me. I teach anatomy & physiology at a community college and know how to read an EKG. When he left the room to get my lab blood work request form I read my EKG, which was normal. Now for the blood work request. The insurance code used to justify blood work was "abnormal EKG". One would think a caring doctor would discuss an abnormal EKG. Also, the form said " the patient must make an appointment 1-2 weeks later to discuss the lab results" So now I need to go back and pay another copay to discuss results? Not even heading to lab. I'll find another GP and start over. Suggest avoiding this place.
