This review is primarily based on recent claims experiences I have had with GEICO. Everything else…read moreis good with GEICO as well, as I really don't have much interaction with them, except for a claim. As many local here would know, we had a few good rain events in the past few months, with the first being the remnants of Julia and then Hurricane Matthew a few weeks after that. Both of my claims experiences were due to each of these events. In the first event. the first car ended up being a total loss due to flooding. Our neighborhood floods, but not to the extent it did during these two events. In this first claim, the process from beginning to end took six days. Brian was a great adjuster to work with on this first claim. Overall, this was a great claims experience. I never ended up having to use a rental car on this incident as I had already gotten another (new) car within that time period. The second claim occurred with Hurricane Matthew. The new car I had purchased a few weeks prior was sitting in water in my driveway. This was on October 9, 2016. The one good thing with this is that the new car was new, so the seals on them did pretty good at keeping a good amount of water out of my car. The water that did get in just seeped in, so it ended up that I only needed to have the carpeting and jute (padding) underneath the carpet to be replaced. There ended up being no issues with the engine, battery (my car is a hybrid), oil, and so forth. Sean was the adjuster for this incident was able to answer any questions I had. The longest parts of the process were getting an adjuster assigned to begin with (took almost a week for one to be assigned) and waiting for the parts to come to the dealership so that the work could begin. In this case, I ended up having to get a rental car due to how long the process took (I had coverage for it on my policy). In this case, the process took just under a month from beginning to end. This really wasn't GEICO's fault. It was just a long time trying to get the parts needed to fix the car. I'm not surprised given how many cars got flooded in our area from Hurricane Matthew. Overall, my two claims experiences went well. There were no major issues to contend with pertaining to GEICO in either situation. Although I work there, I have no knowledge of the claims side of things. This is strictly based on my two claims experiences as noted above. Hopefully, I won't have to worry about any more claims for a long time.

My car was in major hailstorm. Major damage with many trees down and hail the size of your palm!…read more After an initial quote from Geico to repair my car the agent gave it to his boss. He went to repair shop and helped them bloat repair cost from initial $1222.72 to $7,700. AND THEY ONLY FIXED HAIL DENTS, NOT SCRAPES IN PAINT FROM TREE BRANCHES. Another adjuster came out and took photos. I showed him the 6 story tree which bent in half sending broken branches over the top of my SUV. I watched it from my 3rd story apt window! Then he went back to his boss with photos and next day sent me an email saying maybe previous owner scraped the top of the car with a canoe!!! I bought the car from a Toyota Dealership! My car was in such good condition the dealership offered to buy it back from me for same price I paid a year later!! I've been with Geico for 8 years. Never late on a payment, NEVER HAD A PREVIOUS CLAIM! I'm furious for their lackadaisical attitude to a 81 year old customer with a perfect record. Maybe they thought my age would be a deterrent to fighting their negligence? Sorry guys, it doesn't work like that. I have life experience on my side.

Tom Shelton was my agent and did a great job. He got me more for my house than I was asking and got my new home in Franklin closed for a fraction of what it would have cost with anyone else. I would highly recommend Cap Center and will definitely use them again if the need arises.

They are located on the first floor in the big building there. My visit to this place was on April 16, 2020 to finalize a refinance closing. In February/March 2020, I was in the process of looking to refinance my original loan to remove PMI and get a lower interest rate. After looking at options, I started the process with CapCenter by first talking to someone by phone to ask some questions. After that was done, I went online to start the application process. The one on the phone said it could be a few weeks to get a first response from a loan consultant due to the higher volume of applications coming in. I had no issues with that. The main reason I ended up going with CapCenter was due to having no closing costs. In less than a week, I had gotten a response from my new loan consultant Natalie Murray. This was a very quick turnaround time. I worked with her through the process. There is a $1000 deposit ($500 at commitment and $500 at rate lock); however, you get that deposit back in the same manner that you paid it after closing. After that process was completed, it would move to Emily Weeks, who I worked with when it came to the pre-closing information and any last minute things that were needed. This was very smooth as well. On April 16, 2020, it was time for the actual closing. Although there was quite a bit of paperwork (as expected), the process was pretty quick and smooth. You also get a few things from them after closing such as a hat as well. Overall, it was very easy to work with CapCenter. If I decide to do a refinance in the future, CapCenter will be the first place I go back to. With a fast and easy process along with no closing costs, it's a win-win. If you are looking to refinance, this is who you need to check out.
