We were longtime Prosper Insurance customers (over a decade), and we stayed on when the company became Evertree. It has not been a pleasant experience. Evertree does not offer any after hours or weekend support. Likewise, the company they had my auto insurance with also doesn't provide weekend support. This left us stranded on a weekend needing a tow truck. Likewise, they never called us back after 2 messages. I had to call on Monday around 10 a.m. I called twice in one day to get help and to setup insurance on a new vehicle. They once again could not help because it was after 5 by the time I called a second time. The next day, no one called until after 3 p.m. We ended up having to purchase a new car insurance policy with a different company so that we could buy our new vehicle and drive it home. We couldn't continue to wait days because no one at the company is responsive or helpful. We also found out the policy we had with Evertree was over $1500 more a year with less coverage. I would not recommend doing business with them as there appears to be high turnover, poor customer support, and slow to respond help. read more

I'm not sure when they took over the other insurance company. I spoke with someone yesterday who was going to email me my auto renewal Declaration page as it is ready however I can't access it in the app or website. I called back again this morning, no one has returned my call nor have I received the Declaration page. Since they can't provide good customer service, I will be moving all my insurance policies somewhere else closer to me instead of dealing with an agency who is 20+ miles away through the HRBT. Not acceptable. it doesn't take that long to send an email. read more

Disappointed,Do NOT recommend this company, As my renewal date is approaching, I wanted to give Prosper the opportunity to review and replace my current Home-owners coverage on two homes, plus four cars, flood insurance on one home and Personal Catastrophe insurance. I sent all my declaration sheets and elevation certificate to their representative. The person I sent all my documentation to, Kate Stage said I would have my proposals in a couple of days. So, after two weeks and very poor communication I have not received any proposal information. Total waste of my time. I was told that closings on new homes took precedence over my request. Don't waste your time with this company, take the traditional approach and contact the coverage providers yourself. You will be way ahead of what these people can do for you. read more

They'd much rather get mad because they are not comprehending what you're saying because they are hearing you but not listening and then hang up in your face. We'd like to let everyone know about a fantastic insurance agent with Prosper Insurance, Annaliese Moran. Ms. Moran was initially recommended to us by a neighbor. We first asked her about an alternative for our homeowners insurance, a policy we had had with the same company for many years despite the fact that the coverage was not great and the rates kept going up. Ms Moran found a policy for us with better coverage and cheaper rates. Then she did the same thing for our auto insurance and umbrella policy needs. I had been dreading getting condo insurance. Like 3 years of crossing fingers every time I left on a big trip that nothing sprung a leak in my apartment dreading it. When I finally mustered up the energy to look into it, PIG was my first stop. And it was painless. A quick and super pleasant phone call with Pearl (seriously, she has to have the sweetest voice ever) and I was effectively done. I was worried I wouldn't have the documentation on me but she looked up my listing and got all the info directly so my unprepared self could reap the benefits. Pearl then emailed me the most competitive policy and jumped back on the phone to patiently walk me through each aspect of the insurance to make sure it fit my coverage needs. She explained everything in layman's terms and even recommended decreasing certain areas to ensure I was paying for just the right amount of coverage. I was completely misrepresented and and misled when I signed up for homeowners insurance with Prosper Insurance. Paul Sawyer didn't fully disclose my coverage to me. I even asked specific questions about my coverage for my house and I was promised it would cover 100% of my house including mold and moisture, and come to find out it doesn't. It only covers up to $5,000. Well, I have a million dollar home so what is that going to cover, very very little. I have spoken to the owner Drew Monroe multiple times about different issues I have with my policy and all he does is talk like a used car salesman and blow me off. This company made me feel comfortable with our coverage which also helped us make a decision with our new home purchase. WHAT A MISTAKE!!!!! I would definitely go a different direction then Prosper Insurance when you shop and sign for your home coverage. read more

After reviewing my property insurance from USAA and realizing the astronomical price I was paying yearly, loan officer (Nate Brown at Fulton Mortgage) recommended Michael Hunt at Prosper Insurance. I contacted Mr. Hunt after working hours not expecting a return phone call until the next day. Michael immediately called me back, despite being in the middle of a work event, and took down the information he needed. He was easy going, thorough, and knowledgeable. Within 12 hours of my first phone call to Mr. Hunt, I had two quotes in hand which he explained in detail - answering all of my questions and recommending options that are in the best interest of my finances, while also properly protecting my home. Every single person I spoke to failed to do their job. I added a fifth car to our policy, with no information a new policy would have to be created. I wasn't given a quote for the cost, as she said she couldn't. I then looked online and saw a new policy, for over half the cost of our 4 car policy, had been opened. When I called to cancel this single car policy, they canceled both policies. Then I had to call to get them to remedy this. I then called to remove one car, as I was switching it to another provider with the newest car, and they failed to remove it. I noticed this a few days later. I then had to call them again to do this. When I decided to move everything to another company, they assured me my premium would auto draft until the cancellation date was effective. It did not and I got a 400 dollar bill in the mail with a due date of 3 days later. In the end, I have decided to move all of our insurances to a company where I do not have to go through an agent to get anything done, as I have easily made 20+ calls in a month to them to try to get my insurance straightened out. read more

I had my insurance through State Farm prior to Prosper. Michael was able to find some great insurance companies that provide great service, more coverage than I had before, and at an awesome price for my home, auto, and umbrella. He asked me a few questions on my initial consultation and from there we had one additional discussion to go over all my options and provided this information in a professional format and I didn't lift a finger and have to do anything. Fantastic assistance from Joel with my auto insurance. After three years of the premium with another company going up I called a few competitors. I was amazed at the customer support and service. I ended up with a policy quite a bit cheaper than anybody else quoted along with increased limits and a great bit of educational pointers on what the policy actually covered allowing me to improve my coverage (still for less than the previous policy).
