I was Previously a patient of Progressive veterinary care. they were Kingston Animal Hospital back then. I was Pleased with the Care I received for My Dog and Cats. When they Moved to their present location I Followed them there. After a while I switched to a Different Vet. (reasons I won't get into here) one was Location.
I Returned to this Practice last Month. Glad I did. I Brought one of my Cats in because she didn't seem right. I suspected she needed Dental work. we Saw DR. Emily Gerhard. she Examined "Ashley" gave us an estimate with high and Low. so I went ahead and scheduled Surgery for Ashley. I'm Glad I returned to the Practice. I think DR. Gerhard is a valuable asset to the Practice, Team and Her patients.
Ashley was Well taken care of. DR Gerhard did a Wonderful job with her Dentistry! They Took Good care of her through the Whole Procedure. The Doctor called before she Started the surgery to let me know how Ashley is doing. Called after the Procedure to let me know everything went well. The Techs assisting the Doctor where Very Nice as well. I Could see that Ashley felt comfortable with them and they made her feel at ease.
The only thing I wasn't super happy about is they wanted a Cardio work up before surgery. Ashley has a Hear Murmur. not a Big one, but she does Have one. While They didn't require it, I decided to have it done. since Ashley is older now than last time she had surgery. her Cardio came back great. so that should be good for several years at least. (Hopefully) $900.00 for that work up. Still, if the cat didn't make it through Surgery I never would have forgiven myself! Ashley is Doing Great Now. she is almost like a different Cat. eating a lot. seems more emotional too. Sensitive Cat.
I Hope DR. Emily Gerhard Stays with the Practice. I really Like her and she's a great Veterinarian Doctor! read more
