I have never had any trouble with getting treatment at Johnston Pain Management. The staff is always very nice & professional. I have seen many of the doctors at this office at different times throughout the years & all have been extremely knowledgeable, nice, & professional. I've found that as long as you're respectful, truthful, & stick to your contract, you'll never have any issues. They're a very busy office with many patients, so you may have to leave a message with them if you ever have any questions or concerns, but they always get back to me within a day. I highly recommend Johnston Pain Management.

Thank you Dr.Cheney & her equally adept team for providing professionalism & compassion in equal doses! Ken D.

This place is one of if not the most unprofessional, inconsiderate and unhelpful places I have ever had to deal with and mind you I'm not the patient but a family member. There is always one or two that is/are kind usually support staff. My main grievance is the PA Candice. She is hateful, rude, disrespectful, inconsiderate to name a few. She speaks ugly to patients not just my family member and threatens their care when other doctors try to pick up where this office lacks i.e. improving the quality of care of the patient. This is an ongoing theme in the waiting area/ parking lot among patients who feel stuck to keep from being flagged for drug seeking behaviors by switching or whose insurance would make it difficult to switch. Furthermore, if you require a wheelchair to move around, please show up with one as they remove at will theirs if they have them. Also, make sure you are able to move the chair on your own or have someone with you that can or you will likely not be seen. It is this office's policy/stance that it not a part of your care to be pushed to the back or out in a wheelchair. Save yourself or family member the frustration or stress of having to deal with the antics seen here in an already difficult period of their lives. I implore you to seek care elsewhere from the start. I wish I could give a half star.

They then put me in front of a computer to do a virtual meeting I could have had done at home instead of wasting my time and energy. ONE HOUR LATER a doctor finally approaches me to figure out why I'm still there, takes me to check me out, then tells me despite me telling him I am in a lot of severe pain that it is my anxiety and CPTSD, not "real pain". I will be looking into a new doctor, ladies don't bother if you want to be listened to. Avoid it in fact. Absolutely terrible and horrific experience that I embarrassed myself about trying to get any sort of real help. This is the same location that was supposed to give me a physical therapy appointment with someone who actually does deal with my specific issues in FEBRUARY, so I really only have myself to blame. Don't go here, even if you have Medicaid, just dont
