When I got to CCHC urgent care in New Bern the nurse practitioner diagnosed me immediately. It was an infection around my mouth which required antibiotics and a ton of Aquaphor . The N O in Nova tells you everything. The so called doctor wasn't sure what to do or what to prescribe she even suggested Tequila . Also, she wanted me to use something for athletes feet on my face, because she wasn't sure if it was a fungus. DON'T GO!!!! DO WHAT YOU CAN TO MAKE IT TO NEW BERN. I think they have 3 urgent cares to choose from. If you're going to serve the community then do it correctly. I'm sad for our veterans who are assigned this urgent care, they and all of us deserve better. If I could give them less than zero stars I would have.

Being 63 years old, he treated my body like I was a teenage boy with his disregard for my discomfort and age. At the end of his manipulation, I complained of a severe headache. They had me sit down and Dr. Smith saw me after a while. Because 20 minutes had passed, I told him that the headache wasn't as severe, however, the headache continued for 5 days and I let the office know of this debilitating problem. Not once did the doctor contact me to follow up on this problem. I feel like they simply wanted to profit from my pain with no concern for my complaint. I won't be returning to this practice.

Honestly, this was such a bizarre service interaction. I should have left immediately, tbh. And the actual service was lack luster at best. I had to actually go home and talk to my husband to decode the whole thing to make sense of it. I won't be back. I wanted a nice way to pamper myself, but instead felt like all I did was pay for someone's poor behavior. And I smiled while it all happened, so I'm mad at myself for that part.
