She was a realtor and needed higher coverage a long long time ago. She was paying over $1,500.00 every 6 months. When she finally agreed at my begging to look elsewhere (85 year old mothers are set in there ways) she found perfectly good coverage for one third of the price. They took all the same accident/policy information and we are saving $700 in just the first 6 months!! WITHOUT COMPROMISING ON COVERAGE! Now, we are also using the snapshot devices and are (fingers crossed) hopefully going to see even more discounts for good driving habits. I recognize that we are new to Progressive, but they deserve some recognition for the amazing rates and explantation of coverage over the phone. The agent I spoke with took 40 minutes of his day to answer all of my questions and help me match my new coverage to what I was getting with GEICO. Since we are so new to Progressive, this review is representative of our experience as of today. I will place another review in 6-months when our policy renews. Very seldom did someone actually answer the phone when I left messages all the time and "never" had any returned calls. I wanted a line by line explanation of what my check covered, didn't receive that. Don't understand the depreciation they deducted $12,000 for that (??? What items??) and over $3,000 for deductible. I have paid a lot of money for coverage and never had a claim (over 22 years). I understand everyone had some damage from Hurricane Ian; however if they would have simply explained where my claim was and not ignore me would have been appreciated.
