The people in the office never answer their phone and most calls are returned late, if at all. To actually speak with someone, I've had to physically go to their office. The last time I went to their office, I left work early on a Wednesday to try to get there before they closed. I arrived at 4:30. The office was closed even though their hours state they are open until 5. Today I received a phone call from someone in the office who said she was returning my call. It was actually my husband who called and left a message, not me. Since I had her on the phone though, I thought I could ask her a few questions. Instead of answering my questions, she became very short and tried to talk over me. I told her to call my husband (who, as a law student, is just going to question her more thoroughly than I did). There are so many other agents in the area that have to be more reliable than this company. I'm sure Dave is a great agent, but his office staff is the worst. If the phone doesn't get picked up and our questions can't get answered (without attitude I might add), what would happen if we filed a claim? There are too many agents in the Pittsburgh area to stick with an office that is unreliable - we're moving on from Dave Masters. **Update: After posting this review my husband and I switched our insurance over to another State Farm agent.

They failed to do that and filed a fraudulent return resulting in me paying over 1,000 to get my taxes amended and also multiple fines from the IRS. I even came in with a form saying what the business needed to be filed over and they still did not file them correctly. I have received barely any help at all trying to fix an issue that they caused. I have been trying to get in contact with someone to help me with this for almost a month now and I'm still not able to get any help. I've called customer service many of times and the answer I get from them is "I can make you an appointment to see a tax specialist to go over your taxes". The LAST thing I want is ANYONE from h & r block even looking at my taxes. No one will direct me to anyone to help me and I've been getting the run around for a month. I can't believe a business is so poorly run. I was quoted $500-$600 for an individual tax return (no dependents​) from several smaller businesses! I've never paid more than $350. Because I had a frustrating experience with doing my own taxes I didn't want to go that route. I also had a terrible experience with an H&R Block Premium office in Portland, Oregon so I was very wary. But when I saw the four-review for​ the South Side office, I decided to call them. Justin, the store manager, answered the phone and he sounded nice AND smart. So I asked if I could come see him. I made an appointment and badda-bing my taxes are done. It was actually way less excruciating than usual. Everyone else in this location seemed nice and with-it. My final bill was just $247.00 - a screaming deal.

The most unprofessional experience I have had in a long time. After years of calls, emails, and friendly exchanges...never missed a payment, and a representative called to yell at me while I am scrambling to find insurance for me and my two teenage children. All it would have taken was a call (which they claim in their files they did, but mysteriously, that employee is no longer working for them). Nobody ever called me. I cannot find any letter from them. Maybe the postman lost it? In any event, after 21 years of loyalty, this is how my kids and I were treated.

You are entitled to get your credit score from all 3 agencies for free and dispute them yourself.
