Since they are bankrupt, they claim they do not…read morehave enough personnel to read electric meters each month, so you may, unknowingly, be receiving "estimates" each month, until one day, they do read your meter and send you an outrageous bill (mine went from approximately $38 per month, to over $4,000) from one month to the next because of an "adjustment" they made after reading the meter. Then, you MUST go personally to their offices to inquire/protest, only to be forced into entering a payment plan with them AFTER you pay down 50% of what you "now owe". AND, they have the NERVE to charge 8% interest on what you are left owing after the 50% payment. It's almost violent the way the people in Puerto Rico are treated by this entity! There should be a class action against them.
