I don't know why yelp says California. I live in Keyport, NJ…read more I started treatment here approximately 3 months ago and have had incredible results. I came for one issue and have had many issues alleviated to a large degree. It truly has been a whole body healing experience. This is after many years of ongoing issues and chronic disease. This will be a long, well-deserved review, but I will try to stick to the pertinent facts. Briefly, these are the issues I have come to OB Accupuncture with: Rheumatoid arthritis; bulging discs in neck and back; stenosis in neck and back; carpal tunnel syndrome; fibromyalgia; migraines. There's probably a few other things I'm missing, but you get the idea. Sick and in pain has been my middle name. I am 57 years old and have been on disability for 5 years. I have treated with Orthopedist, chiropractic, pain management, physical therapy, and also saw briefly two different accupuncturists with not much relief. I have been on too many medications to count. I was ready to start looking into surgical intervention to get some relief. I felt like my life had been stolen by chronic disease and pain. My entire body has been affected by this. I came to this office after suffering for one month of migraines that started weekly and had progressed to almost daily either pre-migraine, full migraine, or post migraine. Pain management, chiropractic and medicine were doing nothing. My migraines went away after the first day of treatment and I have not had one since. I have had some head pain, slight temporary light headache or otherwise symptoms perhaps 5 times in 3 months but HAVE NEVER HAD ANOTHER MIGRAINE since starting accupuncture with Dr. Gregg. Now the even better part happens, if that's the right word. The arthritis in most of my body has decreased significantly. Apparently accupuncture treats inflammation of the whole body, which in turn helps EVERYTHING. Neck and back pain have gone from a constant, daily grueling issue to more of an intermittent concern. Am I pain free? No, not all the time, but having many more pain free days. Has my pain level decreased significantly when I do have pain? Yes. Am I still having flare-ups and issues? Yes, but they are much shorter in duration, I am recovering much faster. My right thigh has been numb on and off for at least 7 years, and the numbness was becoming constant. That is gone, which is truly unbelievable. I have gotten little "twinges" of numbness here and there, very brief and then it's gone, and not even daily. I used to need 2 to 3 hours in the morning after waking to sit and allow my stiffness and soreness to go away before I could even start to function. I now am good in 15 minutes after waking up. I just stopped my last arthritis medicine, and after a few days of flare-up, have not needed it. I was taking muscle relaxers daily; I have taken 1/2 of one pill maybe once a week, if that. If you've stuck up to here with this review, I can only say my experience with this practice has been not only positive, but has literally changed my life. I still have the underlying issues, of course, but have gotten tremendous relief from accupuncture and the accompanying therapies that I've received. I feel 10 years younger physically. A true gift. The office is clean, comfortable, bright and airy. The staff, Vanessa, Tina and Marianna, are sweet, helpful and compassionate. Dr. Gregg is talented, kind, wicked smart and truly concerned for your well-being and overall health of every system in your body. Always willing to listen and explain anything, as many times as you need, until you understand it. The office does not accept insurance, and honestly, if they did would probably not be able to offer the comprehensive entire body care it does, nor the time it takes to give each person they treat such an individualized and personal level of care. You are given as much time and attention as you need. What a concept, right? I am on disability, and thus, a very fixed income. The treatment plan was affordable when I broke it down into individual appointments, and I'm assuming when I am done with the first steps the ongoing will be affordable as well. This is not a one and done kind of thing. I'm not there yet, but I assume there is an occasional "maintenance" you will need to keep your health on the right track. You have to be willing to invest in yourself and make the commitment to come regularly, quite often in the beginning. Its been a lot for me, and thankfully it has given me results I never thought I'd ever get from anywhere. This has been the best use of my time and money I've ever spent - on my health! Thank you!

Greg mentioned that he had had success working with ED, so I thought "why not". It has been a pleasure to work with Greg and the improvement has been remarkable. Still not back to my 25 year old self, but certainly 100% better than I was when I entered the office. But even more important is the holistic approach that Greg takes. In my case I took on asking my regular slew of medical professionals to review my meds to see the effect they have on ED. The acupuncture has had positive effects on both physical and mental aspects of my life. Besides Greg, I also must commend his staff who are always courteous, willing to help, and just fun to be with. This to me has been a life changing experience, restoring self confidence as well as my physical ability to fully enjoy my relationship

Dr. Choy's staff person, Erica, called me back and I told her what the situation was. Erica told me she would check with Dr. Choy and get right back to me within a few minutes. I told her that might be a challenge depending on the doctor's availability, but to please call me back at her earliest convenience with some answers. I never heard from her again. I called again and left a message reminding her that I was waiting to hear back from her. No call back. I called one last time telling her that the situation was very serious and I needed to know if Dr. Choy could possibly help my brother, otherwise we'd have to make other arrangements. I literally begged Erica to give me the courtesy of a return call. I never heard from them. I whole-heartedly recommend NJ Spine & Wellness in East Brunswick!…read moreThe first appointment, I hobbled in with a cane, barely able to walk upright. After talking with the doctor, they took X-rays and sent me back for physical therapy (Amy) and chiropractics (Nick). They both spent a good deal of time with me. I woke up that night for the bathroom and was amazed that I was able to hop out of bed with no problems and was able to stand tall. It only took one visit for them to re-align my spine and had me feeling better. I continued for my follow-up visits to make sure everything was well and now I can continue life pain-free! They took X-rays, told me I had a fracture, and sent me for an MRI at University Radiology after endless confusion and back-and-forth over scheduling mistakes. What I later discovered -- only after seeing a highly respected wrist surgeon for a second opinion because I was still in severe pain -- was unbelievable. The MRI disc they gave me was blank. Blank. Thankfully there was at least a written report. The specialist then informed me I never had a fracture in the first place and that Alliance had put the wrong cast on my arm. According to him, the cast actually caused further damage to my wrist and forearm. He also told me that if I had followed Alliance's recommendation and continued into their physical therapy program, I could have ended up with permanent damage or even been crippled. What frustrates me most is that this feels less like patient care and more like an assembly line operation: diagnosis, cast, physical therapy, repeat. A factory. They even contacted me after my first review and asked me to remove it, and because I try to be fair, I did. That was a mistake. At my recent six-week follow-up, my surgeon again confirmed the cast had significantly worsened my condition. I am right-handed and have now lost the normal use of my right hand, wrist, and forearm since the end of January. Cortisone shots have failed, and now surgery is potentially next. People rely on reviews to make important medical decisions. My friends asked why I removed my original review because they use Yelp and Google reviews to decide where to seek treatment. They were right. Patients deserve to know about experiences like this before trusting someone with their health.I sincerely hope no one else goes through what I did.

Natalie greeted me with a big smile and took the yoga class with us. This is definitely a place where they know their clients, not just the pleasant hello. For a newbie yoga person, this was the kind of comfort I was hoping for. We walked in to the beautifully sunlit yoga studio, and met Allison our instructor. I love how judge free every one was and how peaceful it was. This and Allison made me completely love yoga and Wholetrition Wellness. I have been lucky to take yoga classes with Allison and Judy. These ladies are amazing and help get you connected to your peace! It brings that bliss and these ladies are awesome guides in your journey on your path!! Wholetrition is the perfect No Judgement environment. (There are other services they offer too- nutrition, massage, reiki and more!!) They recently had an open house. There was a great turn out. These ladies and gentlemen know what they are doing.
