I am actually enjoying the stretching and exercises to get my core area and hamstrings strengthened. Lumbar stenosis is not enjoyable and I will get back to biking and weights soon but gradually. I received a list of stretching videos to aid me at home. I am extremely pleased with the team at Trinity and they are genuinely concerned at getting me on the road to recovery. About 15 years ago, I tore both my shoulders lifting in college. I had torn cartilage in both and my labrum in my right shoulder according to the MRI. After my consulting an orthopedic, he told me to defer the surgery unless I was a professional athlete, which I'm not, or until the symptoms interfered with my daily life. Well the torn labrum did indeed catch up with me after 15 years of scar tissue build up and sure enough I started having problems taking my shirts on and off. So surgery was back on the table. That's when I heard about the EPAT therapy at Trinity Rehab. I'm pretty much a skeptic but since it's non-invasive and my other option was going under the knife I gave it a go. EPAT is no walk in the park but, then again, neither is surgery. They blast your shoulder with some device to break up the scar tissue. Surely not a very pleasant experience while they are working on it which luckily takes under 10 mins but several session in the case of my 15 year old injury. The first is the worst with each one subsequent session being significantly more tolerable. But low and behold after a few weeks I was regaining mobility in my shoulder (they only did my right one). With daily rehab exercises and EPAT, I can tell you my right shoulder now feels better than my left one. The rehab was too painful and I didn't have the range of motion to complete my rehab exercises prior to EPAT. This was a huge win for me and the results have been better than my expectations. After the success of my shoulder, I've already gone back back to treat a new hamstring tear I got doing hill sprints. It felt better after only one session and I didn't have to go back for any more. I'm a believer and now I'm looking at possibly having this done on several of my other injuries. I'd completely recommend to anyone this prior to surgery. Surgery or not you have to do the rehab to get back the strength so to me it's why risk complications until you've tried the alternatives. read more

I attended Trinity Rehab after foot surgery. Their hours are very convenient and it's easy to make/change appointments. I never had to wait upon arrival, which was very nice! I have been going for PT here for a while now, it was recommended by my doctor as the best place to go for PT in my area. That said I will tell you I have been to other places locally. None can touch Trinity! I have used them them after foot surgery and on my back. I live in pain due to a back injury and they have been very helpful to get me moving again. After being in a wheelchair and using a walker due foot surgery. I was having trouble walking due to back pain since I was off my feet for almost a year. Everyone who works there are very professional! From the front desk for appointments and billing, to the Physical Therapists who work one on one with you. To the aids that will help you make sure that you are doing your exercises properly. They are all so caring. It can get very busy there at times yet you are still care for as if you were the only one there. I have seen them treat children to seniors some of who are closing in on triple digits. It is amazing to watch the change in people these professionals are making with people. They will push you but never to the point of pain. They all listen to your problems and help you. If you are having a bad day they will change what you do to make you get the exercise and treatments you need. They all truly care about your whole body and health. They make it fun to be there. I had been suffering with lower back pain for years. Tried everything shots, therapy, chiropractors nothing worked. I heard about Trinity rehab on the radio and since it was very close by I decided to give it a try. After about five weeks I cannot believe the relief. I am practically pain free. My Therapist John is a mircle worker. He has worked very hard to help me and it is working. I am a work in process but I havent felt this good in years. Thanks to John I cant say enough good things about him and Trinity everyone who works there is very caring and friendly. Best part Medicare is picking up the tab. read more
