I postponed going because I don't like being touched by strangers. The front desk staff, Dawn and Nicole, were helpful and able to fit me in right away. I explained my issue with being touch to my therapist, Monica Kumar. She was so understanding and willing to work around whatever we had to in order to make me feel comfortable. Well, within minutes I was so comfortable, she had me chatting away while she worked on my leg and asked questions about the fall, how I had been getting around and what movement hurt. Monica explains every exercise we do, she explains not only how to do the exercise but also what area it is working and how it will help. Lol, Monica definitely has eyes in the back of her head and watches closely if I'm doing the exercise properly even when she's not right next to me. I have observed the rest of the staff using this same care and attention to their patients, all while constantly cleaning and wiping down tables and equipment. I am no longer hesitant to go to physical therapy and will continue to call on Monica any time I feel the need.

I know my son still has a long road of recovery ahead of him but I am confident with the help of Greg and Kessler he will make a full recovery and walk again on his own.

I wanted to be mindful of her time, and asked for guidance on how to do the exercises myself - but she insisted on staying on the call while I did all my repetitions, making sure I was keeping correct posture as well as not slacking off! She also looked over my desk setup and recommended changes to my workstation (I spend 10hrs a day in front of a laptop) to ensure I was set up correctly to avoid injuries in the future. She followed up with me for a week to make sure I was doing my exercises and to check up on my condition. Its hard to find doctors these days who have that sort of patience and caring. This was my first time attending physical therapy, and I regret to say that the care and…read morecommunication I received fell far short of professional standards. During my second visit, I was surprised and disappointed when the majority of my session was conducted by an aide, who was at times across the room. I felt unsupported, lost, and unsure of what to do. This made me question the quality of care being provided. Additionally, I was told that most patients are "independent" and can simply perform exercises on their own. I was even offered a printout to complete my exercises independently at a table. This is not the level of clinical oversight I expected when seeking rehabilitative care. Furthermore, I had to cancel a Monday appointment due to being hospitalized over the weekend with diverticulitis. As your office was closed, I had no opportunity to cancel within the 24-hour window. This was an unforeseen medical emergency, and I informed the front desk that Cole was aware of the situation. They mentioned they would request a waiver of the $35 cancellation fee. However, Cole declined. On a separate occasion, Cole told me to come in after work "any time" on Monday. When I called ahead to confirm I was on my way, I was told that this was not how your scheduling works. This inconsistency added to my confusion and frustration. What was most upsetting was being publicly told by one of your therapists, within earshot of other patients, that I could not return unless I paid the cancellation fee. This was deeply embarrassing and unprofessional. Everyone was watching, and I felt humiliated. I am an MRI technologist and have recommended your facility to patients in the past due to its convenient location. Unfortunately, after my experience, I can no longer do so in good conscience. The aides, while courteous, are not trained to provide the kind of therapeutic guidance patients require. The facility appears overbooked, with insufficient oversight and a clear lack of patient-centered care. This entire experience has been both disturbing and disappointing. I will not be returning, and I will not pay the $35 cancellation fee out of principle. I believe patients deserve dignity, empathy, and clinically appropriate care. I received none of those things. I hope you take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements to your operations and staff training. I am now with Kessler where I am taken care of by a qualified physical therapist not an aide.
