It was extremely difficult to understand the representative due to their limited English capability. After providing preliminary information, they had to go off the line to apparently consult with someone. He came back on the line and got a little more information and off he went again. He then came back and said that I couldn't get an EMG scheduled unless I got discharged from my current pain management provider. Any consideration I had of switching to them has now gone out the window with such poor representatives. When I questioned he why I had to be discharged from my current provider to have an EMG done, off he went for a couple more minutes. He came back on the line to tell me that he could continue adding me to the system. He asked for address which was provided and he said that he had to put it into the system, and off he went again! After he came back I told him that I had more than one insurance plan and, you guessed it, off he went again, and I'm back to the awful techno music on hold. He apparently comes back again because the techno music stops and the next thing I know is that I have been disconnected. If this is the way that they train their administrative staff, I want nothing to do with them since they obviously have no quality control or concern about the impression they are giving to potential new patients. There aren't a lot of pain management choices in this area, but anything is going to be far better than dealing with this practice. Forewarned is forearmed!

Every doctor I saw said I had fibromyalgia and at the end of 2021 to through all of 2022, I have lived with chronic pain. I will give the nurse practitioner here credit for recommending physical therapy and for a new medication. But who fills out tons of the same paperwork to be told you can only pick ONE area to complain about? So, I picked my back, she said it was my posture. Told me I needed an X-Ray and that I would get a back brace. i got the X-Ray, my spine is fine. I didn't get a back brace, I was mailed a medical brace and was warned by family medical professionals NOT to put that on and then doctors unless told by an orthopedic surgeon. I got a huge neck brace, yet that's where I don't have chronic pain! How would she know? She only focuses on one thing. Lidocaine patches? Well, I'm sure they're helpful if you can lift your hands over your head, but I can't. She's not patient friendly, she pushes her side business of medical marijuana, and she yells at the office staff in front of patients. I've gotten worse, not better since I first saw her this past fall. She'd know this if she didn't focus on 1 thing. So, I listened to my gut and the advice of others- I found someone else. I shouldn't be overlooked as someone with a back injury when I have pain all over and am falling down. That's not quality care. Please do NOT go to this location, or the nurse practitioner named Shauna. Go elsewhere! Clearway Pain Solutions is a big company, frankly I'd go to the CEO on someone like her. But I wont go to that business anymore!

They do not pass out any medication indiscriminately. They do pill counts, drug testing and keep up with current research. The American Medical Association has recently come out in support of pain management at a time when this is a difficult area of medicine to practice. There are many medical conditions that do not respond to alternative pain treatments and sometimes opioid medication becomes necessary for optimal functioning. The current body of research now clearly shows, without any doubt, that pain medication prescription rates and overdose rates have no statistical relationship. None. Zero. Zip. Overdoses resulting in death are almost always a result of illicit opioids like heroin & illegal fentanyl, polysubstance use and occasionally diversion of prescription medication used by someone it was not prescribed to. This is typically a result of poverty, hopelessness, lack of employment opportunities, etc. If we hope to combat overdose rates in our state, we need to start fixing the problem rather than hurting patients in need. I am happy to cite the research for all my claims. I can be reached at rebecca0874@gmail.com It is important to note that over the counter Tylenol kills more people each year than opioids but it's still sold without a prescription. Alcohol & tobacco also kill significant numbers of people and our country largely ignores that. It is important that we support good doctors who are doing their best to help patients with a real medical needs. Comfort and Wellness Center does their job well in a difficult time. We need to protect the sanctity of the doctor patient relationship.

I am disabled, and need extra assistance with certain things. They went out of their way to help me and were kind and professional as well. The doctor was phenomenal. He took time to ask me about my experience at the previous pain management clinic I attended, and why I left. He asked what I was hoping to get out of my experience with him and his clinic. We discussed my medication's and he was able to tell me that I had received some in accurate information previously. we made adjustments to my medication's and he told me what his course of action would be if I don't see improvement. He was very open and explained things thoroughly. He was very kind and personable, but also incredibly knowledgeable and professional. I am very happy that I made the choice to switch clinics and I am confident I will see reduction in my pain levels and that he will work with me until that happens.

I ended up getting stuck for $113 of it. Of course I was suspicious before the procedure and asked what my out of pocket would be and was assured there'd be none - caveat emptor - if you're about 5'10" reach out u can have mine! THEN they have u go back another time to get more items u eventually end up getting charged for because I was told insurance/ Tricare wouldn't authorize on 1 form/ visit. In my case? I did decide to go forward after speaking to a couple of his former patients and so glad I did.
