As a new Mom to the area I found the school to be very friendly, welcoming, and the staff to be warm, interested and very caring of our wonderful children. Since they have started through the system, our kids have really come out of themselves and are getting the best education we can give them. The resource time and teaching has really helped and our child has improved in leaps and bounds. I really can not speak highly of both the staff, pupils and the great social side to the parents association who have and are working flat out to keep the school fitted out with the best of equipment. Well done and continued success to Gerry and his team in Gurrane National School.

COLLEGE OF COMMERCE The Cork College of Commerce, which has…read moreprovided a second chance for many over the years, was established in 1908 and is now the largest post-leaving certificate college in Ireland. In my days, it was known as the School of Commerce. Now under the watchful eye of the Further Education and Training Awards Council (FETAC), the aims are still much the same: to help leaving cert students make the jump from second to third level and to help other adults continue their further education. It is highly regarded by the third level colleges and institutions of technology and has a long time close relationship with most of the professional bodies in business. Running both full time day courses, and a night school, the College offers hundreds of courses across computing, business studies, office administration, applied languages, health studies, beauty therapy, complementary therapy, childcare, fashion, travel, tourism, adult Leaving Certificate, professional courses, leisure courses, repeat for honours, and general interest courses. These corridors features ancient tombstone dating back to the 2nd century A.D. Also, make sure to stop by the IRA Volunteers Memorial at the part of campus that used to be the old Cork Gaol. Yeah, I suppose the intended goal of those open doors wasn't so two yanks could sneak around historic buildings and breathtaking conference rooms, but well, it was certainly the outcome. UCC was easily the best campus we visited in Ireland.

I was able to have lessons in the ISM vehicle and then my own and it gave me the confidence I needed to start driving around by myself. The ISM team were very helpful and easy to deal with - I was gifted a voucher from my family to get me back on the road and I'm glad they chose ISM. Redeeming the voucher was so straightforward and they explained the processes really well and really listened to what I was looking for in terms of lesson timing and content - they put me in touch with Joe and I'm so happy with his teaching and guidance. I cannot recommend ISM and Joe Lawton highly enough :)
