Hi, i just wanted to show the work done on my sons hair. This is the sloppiest hair cut ever. I sat in the car because I'm pregnant with twins so my little cousin brought him In. I am truly disappointed as your website shows immaculate work and this was pure sadness. read more

Left the shop like 30 mins ago, can't say enough good things about this place...but I'll sum it up into 3 qualities of a dope barbershop: 1) Great service, 2) Great conversation & 3) Great cut I'm in Oakland for a wedding this weekend so I made an appointment for a 9am cut & I was seen immediately at 9. Lalo was my barber - he walked me through each part of my cut since I wanted to start a combover. He told me how to maintain it with pomade so it grows in the right way, & we had good convo about a bunch of stuff. Overall, just a very good dude who's nice with the clippers. He took his time with the cut, lined me up to a tee & left me CLEAN! Can't get much more out of a barber. I was looking for a good ethnic barber in Oakland since I'm from outta town & I can definitely say I found my go-to spot next time I'm here. Thank you for the cut & props to yall read more

Shout out my local barber shop took care of me on my birthday today. Very professional owner and barbers here that will make sure your cut is tight and right. God bless! read more

I will definitely be back at Professional Touch Barbershop. Lalo did an excellent job on my two boys hair. I showed him a picture of what I was looking to have done and explained how to alter a little to each kids style. He showed me how the last barber took the hair line back to far and how he would fix it. I like that he recognizes that. You can tell he knows about hair and cares. My kids love there cuts as well. We will definitely be back! Thank you! read more

I took my 2 boys(5&3) for a cut today. Marcus did great wonders on Evan's hair(3). He took his time and did not rush even though there were a couple of people waiting. Definitely a perfectionist and takes pride in his cuts. I didn't get the name of the barber who cut Liam's hair, but I am definitely pleased. Probably one of the best cuts Liam has ever had! read more

I want to give Damien 5 stars for making my man Moe looking hot. I told him to go cus lalo did my sons hair and my son really liked his hair so thanks Lalo. But my man has been debating if he should keep his beard so i told him that he needs to go somewhere that knows how to make it look nice so i told him to go to professional touch in san leandro and he did. Damien took care of him and did an amazing job. Moe said he was very comfortable he wasnt sure how it would turn out but he loves it. So THANKS a BUNCH Damien. read more

Been going to this shop for almost 10 years now; this shop in my opinion really lives up to its name. The barbers in this shop are very attentive; acknowledging every person that walks in for a cut. That's why I travel from Stockton, cause I know I'm gonna get treated fair and right. read more

If you know me then you know I don't mind paying $50 for a SIMPLE haircut. The cut could be lackluster but if the service is right and I feel welcomed I will pay for the overall experience. My hair is sensitive to stress and needless to say IM STRESSING. I called before I came so that I wouldn't rush anybody and it was a Tuesday so I know it would've been less crowded. I get in the shop and see the barber I spoke with and could tell he didn't want to cut me. He will remain nameless. I felt the inside jokes. I felt the bad vibes. A barbershop is SUPPOSED to be a place of refuge for men of color. A place where we can "let our hair down". I work in the investment banking world where it's already high stress. Total opposite of what I expected from "Professional" Touch! I still paid the man $32 (no shave given or offered) because of my own Professional Touch read more

Dave is cool and a great barber. I've gone to him twice now and both times he's done a great job!

Clean friendly professional with reasonable prices nice environment parking OK overall a good spot to get your haircut

Clean, professional and a brand new beautiful location. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Hair Type: Straight Hair Cut: low-mid bald fade Hair Style: comb-over / pompadour Moved to bay are in 06' (from L.A where cuts are only between $10-$12). Tried some spots in Oakland and SL but none were up to par and the cost was between $17-$20...heavy on my pocket given I cut my hair on a weekly basis. gave up on my search and started cutting my own hair until recently when I had shoulder surgery and couldn't do it. Found this spot and gave it a shot. Best pick ever! Not everybody knows how to do that perfect fade were in blends into longer hair the fade goes up, but Lalo hooked it up! Gotta love the appointment system for Lalo so you know you'll be in and out. The rest of the guys do a great job too from what I have seen on other customers. Good vibes in the place too; chill and lay-back with ESPN on TV. Price: Higher than I'm used to but you get what you pay for. HIGHLY recommend read more

Brought my Son here to get his Hair Cut July 3rd, 2014. 3 Chairs working today I wasn't going to get cut until I observed a Barber Dressed to Kill cutting hair in my sitting view. I decided to get a cut too. I went to the Barber that was Dressed to Kill later found out his name is Johnny. Johnny reminded me of that Old School Brother my Father use to take me to when I was a Young Boy (He Had Class). Johnies Razors were the SHARPEST I've ever Experienced! I like them Sharp! Plus, as I was waiting, I noticed Johnny continued to Disinfect his Tools/Razors. Im sure the other Barbers were as good however Johnny had that Style you dont get to see at the Barber Shop often. The Facilities were clean with a Mixed Customer Base. Five (5) Stars Easy!! I Will Be Back.......To See Johnny. read more

LOVE this shop! Took me a while to find it after moving here from San Diego and going through a couple of other shops in San Leandro. I love the atmosphere and the conversations are hilarious! Reminds me of the times I'd go to the shop with my dad when he was getting cut! Each barber does a great job cutting both of my boys hair, and Johnny knows exactly how I like my combover :) They've changed it up a little too with new chairs and mounted TV. Give it a shot! read more

Had to give a major shout out to this shop..not only do they give back to the community but its a place where my sons can get a great hair cut and an awesome atmosphere..its not beverly hills but its clean, friendly and most of all professional. My son (carlos) was nervous about going to a new barber. I found this spot ( like a mom does). When we first got there he was nervous about a new style and barber. My son explained to LALO (the barber) what he wanted, and after a short conversation he told LALO to do what he wanted. you can definitely tell he takes pride in his work. LALO hooked it up, my son could not stop staring in the mirror. Thank you LALO and all the barbers there, very respectful atmosphere for women and kids. I think my son found a new barber. read more

Called to get an appointment on a Thursday-booked for 5:30PM on the following day. Arrived at 5:15 and the environment was wonderful for a Friday evening. This establishment is a breath of fresh air for mothers who are concerned about exposing their child to not so good barbershop environments! Lalo was on time and gave my son a great haircut! My son is 5 and has blonde hair around his hairline and Lalo lined him up perfectly!! We will be back! read more

Professional men! Took my son here for the first time & he didn't freak out. Made him feel like a big boy & talked to him to see what & how he wanted his hair cut. I liked that! read more

I don't know anything about barbershops, but I have brought my 82-year-old father here about three or four times since we relocated him to the Bay Area. Johnny gives him a good cut, takes care of his moustache and a few chin hairs, and very importantly, engages with my father while he cuts. Lalo taught my father (who is unsteady after being in the hospital and non-weight-bearing for four months) how to get in and out of the chair without his walker. Marcus makes him laugh with his stories, jokes, and facial expressions. And every now and again, they turn up the music and dance. I suppose I could take him anywhere to get a haircut, but these men respect their clients a great deal (protip for the kids: don't swear, especially in front of seniors, or you might get your ear torn off) and every head I've seen looks better leaving than they did coming. It means a lot to me that my father enjoys himself while we wait, and he always leaves a little happier. Thanks! read more

Easy to find in San Leandro. Very nice staff, took me in quickly. My barber was very friendly and I could tell he wanted me to be happy. The barber shop talk was professional and comfortable to someone new. I was a little surprised that a basic buzz cut with no scissors or razor blade on the back of the neck was $20, especially in San Leandro. The haircut was very sharp and the barber was paying attention to details. read more

I been coming to Professional Touch for over 3yrs now and they are the real deal hands down! I been cut by everyone in the shop and they all got mad hands! I go to Dame to get cut now and my dude has became my family along with everyone else there too they make you feel welcome unlike a lot of other shops around this area! I hear people complaining about "damn man theirs cuts are 25$ that's way too much", well listen up, if you want a PROFESSIONAL cut you will cash out that 25$ no problem, if you got an issue wit that then go pay 10$ and wait in line for 2hours before you get in the chair and get yo self that weak/mediocre hair cut and while your doing so feel like your not even wanted at the shop like the man cuttin it don't even want too cut you and just wants your doe. Every time I go get cut my dudes focus and take their time and make everything precise wit no flaws at all! I got mad love and respect for each one of my brodys in there. Period! Shout out LALO, DAME, JOHNNY and MARCUS, yall keep doin yall thang Man U got it on lock and I wouldn't go no where else to get chopped that's a fact!
