He would not consider surgery as he is self-employed, and could not take off a year to recoup. After reading Tony Robbins book, he heard about PRP (no surgery) and how it was offered at the physical medicine and rehabilitation center (thanks to Peg DelVillar) we came to the center to meet Dr. Pavel and Dr. Ahmad. After meeting both of them we knew this was the place we would get this taken care of. The procedure took two hours tops. After the first week after doing the PRP it was extremely hard and painful (don't give up). On the ninth day, he felt so much better and was able to lift his arm over his head. (It was night and day) He could not believe the difference. Since this was done exactly 4 weeks ago he is 85 to 90% better and getting better every day. We can't thank all of you for your support and helping Jeff feel like himself again. We would like to give a huge shout out to Dr. Patel and Dr. Ahmad for helping him. They reached out to make sure he was feeling better and answer any questions. We give them 12 stars. Amazing facility and the staff is amazing as well. Thank you Karen and Jeff.

Everyone there is great, especially Jason, whom I have the luck of having as my physical therapist. He lets me push myself and will let me know if it's too soon. I have a fractured humerus, which is not humorous, but Jason is so you'll love him for that sense of humor while he's making sure your physical therapy is being tended to, so it's a good distraction not thinking of the pain you might be in. They are attentive, friendly, personable, and professional. While I have the fortune to have Jason as my physical therapist there's times when he can't see me (he's in high demand), so then I get to be treated by Tom or Lauren, Ari, and I feel like I'm forgetting someone! My apologies if so. I've never been treated by Elton, but I see he too is great. My point is you are in good hands here (or legs, hips, shoulders, etc.) The assistants - Maria, Nick, David, Cristian and Eric are so helpful and they are going to make EXCELlent physical therapists. The receptionist - Diana, she's gone above and beyond for me, as well as others, and she too is just..wonderful. Diana, I know I said this in person, but if you're seeing this, please know how indebted I feel. I don't know what I would have done. This was a major inconvenience to me since I was already on the bus to Fort Lee when I decided to call just to confirm. I had organized my afternoon so that I could be in fort lee for my meeting so it was very frustrating to find out 30 minutes prior to the meeting that the doctor decided to leave due to what he called a "emergency with his daughter." Whether this was real or not, his office could've called me to inform me of this change. His response over the phone when I called him was: "I had an emergency. Come at 5:30 or leave." Wow. So rude. Instead of apologizing for his last-minute change of schedule and asking if some other time would work, he demanded that I excuse him for his "emergency" and shouted at me, telling me to go somewhere else or wait until 5PM. His attitude was completely uncalled for and unprofessional. When I called him out on his rude behavior, he criticized me and made a derogatory comment about my being on medicaid.
