I've moved a considerable mileage away and still remain at this office and take days off work to make the trip down because I'm convinced I will not find better eye care than I have here. Dr. Correa is an Ophthalmologist, meaning he not only covers optometry but the overall medical health of your eyes and IT MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE. Mr Dr. Matocha heard how I had lasik from Houston eye associates, he seemed uncomfortable evaluating my vision, and after an hr or so, when he finished recommended that I return to HEA in Houston and charged me $50.00. This was the most bazaar and most unusual exam in my entire life, I'm a older woman, have worn glasses for over 3/4% of my life and never ever have I experienced this type of result-EVER! i had an appointment early in the morning at 9 and got there 20 minutes early. at five minutes…read morebefore nine i tried to open the front door, but it seemed like the door was locked or might've been jammed. I gave up trying to open the door because i didn't want to accidentally break it. I waited outside some more and when the door was opened for me 10 minutes later i went to the counter only to be told by the lady that I was 15 minutes late. It was only 9:12. I tried to explain to her the door was not opening (I even knocked twice) and she completely disregarded what I was telling her which I kind of brushed off maybe she wasn't a morning person. The staff was not nice. seemed like they didn't even wanna be there. There were moments during my eye exam I felt like the doctor was being a bit distant towards me, and I even tried to make a small talk but they just weren't having it. at one point he told me to un cross my legs, which confused me since they weren't in his way, and I thought the main focus was my eyes, not my legs.... it really sucks because I have been coming here since I was a kid and it seems like a lot has changed. no matter how polite I was they just all were very cold towards me.
