I thought that was strange but I guess there were no customers there at the time. A guy that spoke English mentioned that the grand opening special of $19.99 is only for feet and I said that is what I want. He asked if I prefer a male or female, and I said I prefer someone good and strong. Like any other place, my feet were first soaked in hot tea water. Then the masseuse game me a face and scalp rub, followed my arm rub. I didn't care for it, but it was really hard to communicate with her. When she gave me the feet massage, it was more of a feet, shins, and calves rub. I was hoping that this masseuse knows the pressure point on the bottom of one's foot and apply pressure, not a foot rub. Anyone can do foot rubs. Heck my husband is better at it. We found Big Foot massage on the right hand side of the road driving away from the strip. We had not made reservations but were still able to walk right in and be ushered to the back. I opted for the full body massage ($35 that day). There were only two employees working that day, and it was the man that did my massage. He started by instructing me to put my very sore and tired feet into the most inviting hot water soak ever! He then brought me water, and began to work magic on my feet. Within minutes I forgot all about that treacherous 7 hour walk along the strip the day prior. He then worked on my shoulders, and eventually my back. Now I love a good deep tissue massage as much as the next under paid over worked american schmuck, but wowee. I am slightly bruised 2 days later. But I feel great and I know it's all because of the wonderful massage my husband treated me to at Big Foot Massage. Some advice. Just because the people working there don't speak English well, and have accents doesn't mean you need to speak to them in broken English. However as you know with stress comes body aches. So I did as I usually do and went online to research. I called and made an appointment. Was obliged with the time frame. I wanted to take advantage of their 90 minute package that offered the Ion detox. I never experienced that before and figured might as well try something new. Upon entering was greeted and ushered to a room. My feet were then placed in the foot soak with the Ion machine for 30 mins. You lay back with or without a face covering as the machine works for 30 minutes removing impurities out of body through the soles of your feet. My water went from clear I can see my toes to a weird orange color. After that was done my therapist Ana got to work on me. The massage, reflexology, and light therapy all put my body aches to rest. She was careful to not cause pain to my collar bone and took time and effort around my extra sore areas. I def walked away feeling refreshed. Interior is brand new. There are several rooms for your massage needs. Everyone was wearing masks to ensure covid safety. Everything was very clean and well put together. Would most def recommend - pricing is very reasonable for what they offer and the customer you will receive. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. I will be going back again very soon. Before the massage, Meena asked whether I preferred soft, medium, or hard pressure. I initially chose medium, but since it was my first Thai massage, I realized I could only handle soft pressure. I let her know, and she immediately adjusted to make me comfortable. I really appreciated how attentive she was throughout the entire massage. I felt amazing and completely relaxed afterward! The receptionist was also wonderful, and the spa itself is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. I also had a facial with Stacey, and she was amazing! She explained everything she was going to do before starting, and you can tell she really knows what she's doing. My skin felt so refreshed, smooth, and glowing afterward! I finally made the time to go here and my wife and I had a nice time relaxing here. Due to our stroke of luck timing we were able to get the happy hour special pricing - 2 for 1. The two of us both got the water massage treatment... fully clothed (minus shoes) you lay down on your tummy inside of a coffin looking thingamobob. The contraption is lined with a soft plastic sheet that acts as a barrier (you stay completely dry), then jets of warm water spray over your body! It's like getting a massage, but in my opinion better - you don't have some stranger touching you! After that my wife and I took a seat at the oxygen bar. Chad, the friendly dude working the whole shop by himself provided us with brand new sets of tubing that were individually wrapped in sealed bags. He hooked each of us up to our own oxygen dispenser where we were able to change settings to determine the "flavor" of the air that was gently pumped into our nostrils. I enjoyed mixing the citrus and berry flavors. I'm quite sure that this is not medical grade oxygen... as far as I could tell they have a machine that processes regular air to have a higher concentration of oxygen. While we were relaxing at the oxygen bar, Chad provided us with warm neck pillows and electrode massagers that we were able to adjust ourselves... we ended up purchasing one from Chad to take home - it's pretty cool. At this point I'm not sure if it was our imagination, but my wife and I really felt rejuvenated after our visit to Zen Zone... we were ready to hit the town again! I will certainly be making another visit to Zen Zone and I will be sure to let you all know if this is the real deal of rejuvenation or just my imagination. This is the Thai massage that I've been chasing ever since…read more My husband and I did a couples Thai massage here, and it was honestly one of those massages where you walk out feeling like you're slightly high because so much tension has been released. We did the traditional Thai massage for 60 minutes, in the same room, and the pressure was definitely intense at times. There were certain points where it was painful -- but the good kind of painful, where you can actually feel something releasing. By the end, my back almost felt like it had these tiny vibrations running through it. Hard to explain, but I walked out feeling completely different. And whatever they were doing, they were GOOD at it. This is exactly the kind of massage where I want to feel like they actually worked on my body rather than just lightly rubbing it for an hour. I also remember the price being very reasonable for the quality, especially compared with what you can pay for massages around Vegas. Five stars. I've tried other Thai massages since this one and have basically been chasing this experience ever since. Next time I'm in Vegas, I'm absolutely coming back. Paid extra for the extra deep tissue massage, I got a deep tissue but my fiancé didn't. She walked on my back and it definitely wasn't a pleasant experience. It pressed my face so hard into the wooden ply board bed that it actually popped out my contact lens. When I asked for something for my face like a towel to pad it a bit she pulled out a large neck brace sized pillow which propped my head up very high and was uncomfortable in it's own way. I asked for focus on my hands and feet and she barely touched either. Same thing for my fiancé, her requests were ignored as well. She spent the majority of the 90 minutes on my fiancé's legs instead of a full body as expected, and actually massaged her spine which was unexpected. It just didn't seem like the two masseuses were very experienced. All in all it definitely wasn't worth the $350 for 90 minutes. We would have been much better off getting massages at the Aria where we were staying. I guess that's what we get for trying to support a local business and save a couple of bucks.
