We had a layer of dust in the return air vents, and there was still construction debris from when the house was built. I had Amber & Megan as technicians and let me tell you, I can't be happier with the service they gave me & my family! They wore booties when they arrived and walked through our home. I have dogs & they both stopped and just had to say hello to our guys :) When they got down to the damage, they informed me with what they saw and what they were recommending be done. They then (since I am at a rental property) informed me that they had to get an estimate for my property management company so therefore, they would be in touch once they received the approvals to proceed with work. They must have received approval almost immediately because Megan called me a few hours after they left to let me know that Rainbow could proceed. She then asked me what my availability was for access to the home. My roommate works from home so, I let her know as long as she gives us a small heads up, we are pretty available. We arranged for an 8:00am arrival the next day for them to do whatever they needed. They arrived prompt at 8:00am to begin. They had a nice cool plastic wall with a zipper that they put up to keep dust from cutting in the area that they were working in. They continually kept the area that they were working in and the path to take the wall and debris they took out clean. When they were done, they placed commercial equipment to dry my framing. Over the next couple days, they came to check on the drying. They arranged times the previous day and showed up the next couple days at the arranged times. I truly appreciate the timely and courteous manner that they did the work. They cleaned up each day after themselves and respected my home. I've never had a water issue in my home and on top of that, had never heard of Rainbow International. After having a water loss in my home, I can't say I would recommend any other company than Rainbow. On top of that, they do repairs AND carpet cleaning! I had them clean my carpet after the water loss & well I was pretty shocked when Megan & Amber showed back up to clean the carpets! Those Ladies ROCK! My experience with Rainbow Restoration was extremely disappointing. They first came to my home on…read moreOctober 3rd, and the project still wasn't completed until November 20th--an unacceptable timeline for the type of work that was needed. I had to constantly follow up just to keep anything moving, and the scheduling and coordination from the office were completely disorganized. A few days before they were coming back to my house, I even received a call asking for the status of my project, as if the project manager hadn't been keeping notes on my account. I also called to speak with a general manager about my concerns and never received a call back. To make things worse, Rainbow Restoration didn't even perform the main work in my home--the asbestos remediation team did--yet I was still charged over $1,300. The charge didn't include repairing the wall with drywall or plaster afterward. When I asked about it, I was told it was handled by a different department, would require another inspection fee, and they couldn't give me any idea of their availability. I made it clear from the beginning that I did not want to do any of the repairs myself, so I don't understand why the project manager didn't coordinate all necessary services ahead of time. Now I'm left to either do the wall repairs myself or hire someone else, because I absolutely refuse to use this company again. While the technician who came out was great--professional, friendly, and thorough--the rest of the experience was terrible. I would never use this company again or recommend them to anyone.
