While I don't think they did an absolutely horrible job on my nails, it was not particularly good and I would not recommend going here. It cost me about $50 to get gel acrylic French tips done and the result was less than desirable. They're very chunky, with air bubbles, untidy edges and one nail has a bit of clothing fibre cured into it. The size of the tips she chose are far too wide for my nails and the edges overhang. I will need to fix them myself at home tonight. The experience also wasn't pleasant, the technician was very rough, it was painful at times and though she were quick, my fingers are left feeling tender. I regret being too shy to speak up but there's no way she didn't know how rough she were being. Their equipment has clearly been used on multiple customers, the nail file had debris all over it and was long due for replacing. I also experienced the infamous electric file which isn't recommended by professional beauticians. Ironically, my nails look crap.. but because they used an electric file and buffer, if I take their acrylics off my natural nails will look worse. The staff were pleasant and I didn't have to wait, even though I hadn't booked an appointment, hence why I give them two stars. Fairly affordable for acrylic gel nails but not worth the pain, risk of infection from equipment contamination, and end result. Update: yup. My nails are absolutely screwed. The edges were lifting off and catching on stuff a day later. Waste of $50 :( taking down to one star.

I wouldn't give them any stars. I got my lashes done and it only lasted 5 days and by day 8 it all came off. Not good, wouldn't recommend .

They are situated in the middle of the mall, which is a bit weird at first but if you can shut this out by thinking about the cheapness, it helps a lot. The staff there are cute and get on with the job. I did have a problem with the nail polish chipping and peeling off really easily. I went back and told them what was happening and they happily did it again for me. But unfortunately again the polish didn't last very long. I guess you get what you pay for. There are lots of colours to choose from. I particularity like the bright yellow polish they have there. It's great for summer and really adds a lot to your look.

The nail technician was not in the best of moods. She gave my nails a very speedy file and then pulled out a manky LED lamp that was covered in multiple layers of brown grime (the skin of clients passed?). I should have walked out at this point but morbid curiosity kept me seated. My tech began applying nail polish and I asked if my cuticles were going to be cut (main reason why I get a manicure every so often), and she advised it would set me back an extra $10. I declined as I suspected the cuticle trimmers would harbour more bacteria than I would like to know about. The nail polish was applied haphazardly, and I'm still picking it off my hands. My friend's technician did a much better job on her nails, filed them correctly, and pushed her cuticles back allowing for full application of the shellac polish. However her LED lamp was just as filthy as mine, and there were nail clipping all over the place. I complained about the application and my friends technician offered to fix it but I was short on time and wanted to wash my hands asap. I was not offered a discount.

Sure, I've had a massage in Bali that costs all of $12, but spend ten times that at East Day Spa and the experience is elevated to perfection. From the first welcome accompanied by a cup of peppermint tea, to the calming music and beautifully appointment treatment rooms, everything is carefully thought about so you can spend time focussing on being relaxed. A massage here is exceptional, with the therapists obviously holding a high amount of training and experience. Sore legs? They'll spend more time on those when you tell them beforehand. A little knot in your left shoulder? Don't worry, they'll find it and gently knead it out. Don't worry about walking out feeling like an oil slick as they'll use hot towels to remove excess oil before giving you an oil-free face massage. This small attention to detail is what sets more expensive massages apart from cheaper alternatives. And it's not just massage they do well at East Day Spa. I've had facials and pedicures and every time I've walked away feeling relaxed and happy knowing I got exactly what I hoped for. In my eyes, that's money well spent.

We saw their regular customers being offered a cup of tea while we just sat there with no drinks. I saw other customers who didn't seem to be regulars that also didn't get drinks. We started with a pedicure and it was the most uncomfortable pedicure we've got. The girl who did my friend's put HOT WATER in the tub and nearly burned my friend's feet. The tubs aren't attached to the chair so it kept moving and we had to put our weight on it to keep it steady. Clearly it was not a relaxing time for us. We then moved onto our gel manicure. They seemed to have lots of colour options but they actually didn't have quite a number of them in stock. Best to check with them before picking a colour. The ladies who did mine and my friend's manicure cut our fingers but didn't even apologize for it and didn't put rubbing alcohol to prevent infection. They just proceeded with the rest of procedures with the blood on our fingers... It was also the most expensive manicure we've got for a simple one colour gel manicure. I wouldn't recommend this place to my friends and wouldn't come back here again...

They cover a full range of manicure and pedicure options, and every treatment that I've had has been done to perfection. Even if you just go in for a basic file and polish, they do it so carefully and with absolute precision, and the manicure comes with a killer hand massage. Equal to the results you get is the service. The women working at Sassi are so friendly and polite, and obviously make a real effort to keep the salon looking clean and fresh, and stocked with plenty of new, quality mags (always vital!). The products are OPI-based and they stock a full range of OPI products including Gelcolours and the ever-delicious Avojuice. They also do a mean Shellac and offer all those extensiony fake things too. The prices are at the higher end, but it's superb value for money.
