There is a reason his many customers are loyal to this day. He is undoubtedly the best paint color matcher in the tri-state area. His knowledge of old school methods and doing it the RIGHT way the first time is bar none what the paint industry has forgotten with their chain like mentality. I went to Siperstein's on Joline in Long Branch. I explained that I had painted a table with chalk…read morepaint (which has a finish that is so flat it looks like velvet) and needed "dead flat" varnish or sealer. They did not have "dead flat" varnish in stock. I explained that if I wanted a shine, I wouldn't have bothered using chalk paint. I made it clear that I wanted no shine! The Sipersteins employee convinced me to try an "antique flat" finish. I applied the product. It has a glossy, shiny finish ... Exactly what I did not want! Do not go here unless you know exactly what you want. They will convince you to buy things that you don't want! Thanks and happy projecting!
