Instead of wasting time coordinating schedules, I just text Tate. No back and forth, no headaches. They pick up the car, do their work, and drop it back exactly where it was. I'll be out of town, come back, and the cars are sitting right where I left them with the keys placed safely and everything handled professionally. That level of trust is rare. I expected quality workmanship and reliable after-sales support, particularly given their advertised lifetime workmanship warranty. Unfortunately, the wrap began lifting and peeling, and the ceramic coating lost its hydrophobic properties after only a few months. Both Noah and Tate acknowledged my concerns. Tate specifically discussed replacing affected panels and applying another ceramic coating. However, despite repeated attempts to arrange the repairs, I've experienced multiple scheduling delays, cancellations and poor communication. On one occasion, I had my Cybertruck ready for a confirmed 9 AM pickup, but the team arrived several hours late. On another occasion, the scheduled work was delayed because the necessary replacement materials were unavailable. Noah eventually directed me to coordinate directly with Tate, but my subsequent messages went unanswered. I have repeatedly made it clear that my Cybertruck is available for the repairs, so scheduling on my end is not the obstacle. I understand that businesses experience staffing challenges and operational changes, but those circumstances should not prevent a company from honoring its warranty or communicating with its customers. I am now considering filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), regardless of whether NorCal Wraps is BBB-accredited. BBB accreditation is not required for a consumer to submit a complaint. I have retained the invoices, photographs and written communications documenting the defects, repair commitments and repeated scheduling problems. I would still prefer to resolve this directly with NorCal Wraps. However, after more than a year of dealing with these issues, I expect a concrete resolution rather than another promise to schedule the work.

Their gross lack of due professional care caused the damage. They placed a tent over my vehicle as a Sun shield for them. A mild wind quickly blew the tent off, which significantly damaged the sides and roof of my vehicle with many deep scratches. The damage was caused by: · Their inability to correctly assess the proper weight to hold the tent down (They added weights only after I pointed out their need). · Failure to have previously wrapped the legs of the tent in tape or material that would reduce the risk of scratching a vehicle if they misjudged adequate hold-down weights. · Gross inattention to the tent lifting off the car (failure to grab it before it lifted off). Their mistakes are what a novice detailer would commit, thus evidencing their lack of skill or care. I seriously question some of the positive reviews in Yelp for their company. Those customers were luckier than me, if they are real. They were slow admitting they had significantly damaged my SUV. Also, a body shop I met with noticed the detailer had not removed all their polish, thus evidencing the detailer tried to polish out the scratches. An experienced detailer would have known the scratches were too deep to buff out. Also, oddly, the detailer asked if we could pray after telling me about the damage. While I am not opposed to prayer at all in general, I am opposed to it being used as a manipulation device to remove guilt from themselves, which was their clear objective. Their prayer was focused on asking me to forgive them and not God forgiving them for their negligence, or God finding me a quality body shop. One of them also attempted to blame God by saying maybe God was testing me, which clearly is an attempt to absolve themselves of guilt, by blaming it on God. I found their conduct unprofessional and unethical in that they were too eager to divert blame from themselves and they grossly misrepresented their skills. Obviously, I fired them on the spot. Nevertheless, at least they had business insurance, which will help. While they claimed they only had time to wash the SUV, before the tent incident, if they did wash the SUV, it was a poor job. Everyone who has seen it, including the body shop, considered it a poor wash job and the damage they caused a sign of gross negligence. I must do all the work to find a body shop, talk to their insurance and rent a car. It will take more than a month to be on the body shop's schedule, obtain parts, and perform the significant repairs. Thus, the SUV will be an advertisement of the detailer's poor quality for some time. Additionally, their damage has permanently reduced the value of my factory fresh SUV because even when repaired the fact it was damaged reduces its value compared to a never repaired car in the eyes of buyers. Also, the new paint will never be as durable as the factory finish. I have used other detailers in the past and they were more professional and never damaged my car in the least, nor attempted to manipulate me.
