Simply put, Nelson did an incredible job, and the results exceeded all our expectations. One of the biggest parts of this project was staining the new handrails and banisters to match our existing flooring. Nelson showed my wife and me a wide range of stain samples, each carefully selected to closely match the tones of our floors. He was patient and helpful throughout the selection process, and the final result was a perfect match to the sample we chose. The stain not only looks beautiful on its own, but it really ties the whole area together and makes everything feel cohesive and intentional. In addition to the staining, Nelson painted all the trim around the stairs and banisters. This fresh coat of paint gave the space a clean, crisp look and really helped the new woodwork stand out. His attention to detail was apparent in every aspect of the project, edges were sharp, lines were clean, and there was absolutely no sloppiness. He also went above and beyond when it came to prepping the area. Before he got started, Nelson took great care to tape and mask off all nearby surfaces, so there was no overspray or mess to worry about. That level of care and professionalism really stood out. He also patched and textured the walls in areas where the old banisters had been removed, and you would never know there was any work done there. The patched areas blend in flawlessly with the surrounding wall, both in texture and paint color. Throughout the entire process, Nelson kept us fully informed. He let us know when he would arrive, when he was wrapping up each day, and gave regular updates on progress. It's refreshing to work with someone who values communication and follows through on every promise. He quoted us a fair and competitive price for the work, and we felt we received incredible value given the high level of quality and care he put into everything. They left all of the masking paper in my yard to blow away in the monsoon winds we are having every night. They were breaking up old dried-out paint and reconstituting it to a whitewash for some kind of undercoat or primer. I have no used dried-out anything on my contract. The painter tried to be intimidating, he told me he was done. So did the masking guy. They still owed me one coat of elastomeric paint and left. They had chances to fix or prevent this and did not have sense enough to do it. There are Reviews on BBB complaining about the very same treatment. It turns out the painters were painting 12-18 degrees above recommended temperatures, they were applying the elastomer incorrectly, and they failed to perform a rollout before the elastomer dried. Wayne Logan has problems, he won't take accountability like a good businessman and has no idea this is not right. He owes me far more than he offered to clean up this huge mess. He had at least 7 warnings and his painters that many more. Best stay clear for a while, is my opinion. His painters are thinking about the next job instead of the one they are doing. They do both speak English by the way.
