This time it was his son, who I believe has now taken over the business, who came out. He was polite and friendly. He took apart the dryer and found the problem quickly. He had the parts that were needed to repair and had my dryer back together in less than an hour. The cost of the repair was very reasonable. I had a concern a couple of days later and they scheduled a follow up appointment for later the same week. The same man came out, took the dryer back apart and made sure everything was ok, which it was. He was in and out in about 30 minutes. He didn't charge me anything and would not accept a tip. During Thanksgiving Week, I called SGR and spoke with Levi about a problem with our older Maytag gas dryer. He thought he knew the repair part he would need and would order it to get things moving. He also gave me a fair estimate of what the repair would cost assuming his telephone diagnosis was correct. I explained that I wanted to speak with my wife about the job before approval. He said he would immediately order the part while waiting to hear back from me. He said he'll deal with the return should we decide against repairing the dryer. I called back with an approval and he arrived bright and early Black Friday morning to complete the repair. His telephone diagnosis was correct and his estimate more than covered the final repair price. Levi has experience on many household appliances and has a good handle on what should be repaired and what shouldn't. A great guy.
