Stuck on a gravel road, my boy sent me his location and Google led me to Grooms Auto. Roger was able to locate him and repair his tire at an extremely reasonable rate. It is difficult to know your kid is stranded a few hundred miles away, but it makes it easier to know there are small businesses like this to help ease the worries.

Had an unfortunate experience with Valer. Hired them come out to fix the broken A/C in my vehicle…read more When they said it was all set, we paid and went to get the car. Once we got the car back, the A/C was in the exact same condition as when we left it with them. After letting them know it wasn't fixed, they stringed us along for over two hours on when they could look at it again to the point we couldn't wait around for re-service. They knew of our prior commitment so this felt intentional. Another concern is that he accidentally sent us a voice note when speaking with his associate saying that there was a leak but "we'll worry about that another time." In later texts, he explicitly lied to us by writing they checked everything and there were no leaks. After this, we had a reputable company look at the issue, who diagnosed it within five minutes as a leak. I've approached Valer to work something out considering they knew the problem but ignored it and charged us anyways, based on the accidental voice memo. In my attempt to get some type of refund, they lied again, stating that they sat there for 30 minutes with the A/C on to ensure it worked, however, the entire service call didn't even last 30 minutes. The third lie was when we were told they warranty all of their work, but haven't done anything to remedy this situation. Since there was no resolution despite their "We don't do refunds we get results (with an arm emoji)" text when giving the company the fair chance and time to make it right, this review is being shared as neither of those outcomes have been met.

I left my tractor with him, and my credit card info to buy parts. Should have been a red flag there. Inability to even get parts without prepayment. Anyway they made three charges for over $800 each, removed my tractor from its location ( mind you this guy had no commercial drivers license) when I was finally able to locate my truck. My generator that runs my sleeper was gone as well as my CB radio. I have pressed charges but he fled the state before he could be picked up. I should have known better from the start. He showed up in an old truck with a tool bed, had just enough tools that I could carry them in my back pocket. I thought maybe he is just starting his own business.
