I wanted to paint two bedrooms and a bath in our home so I started to research painters in the area. I got in touch with Kevin and immediately had a good feeling about him. Our initial conversation about the estimated measurements and other general details about the rooms we wanted painted was given to him and he gave us a quote and set up a date and time when he can check out the space. Our home is only a few minutes from Kevin so when he came, he suggested we make a trip to Dunn-Edwards paint to pick out a color for the rooms. Once we decided the color, he was ready to work. Kevin is honestly great, prompt, and very honest about his business. He is articulate about the work he does and offers great costumer service. My wife and I called Kevin to paint the interior of our home. The house had old wall paper and a patchy paint job. Kevin spoke with us at length and made us feel comfortable with his knowledge and ability. We had set up several quotes with other painters. Kevin was the second painter to come out and give us a quote. He was great, we felt comfortable with him and his price was reasonable. Kevin started the project the next day and was done in 3 days. Kevin took the time to text us as he progressed with updates and pictures. He also left the remainder of the paint so we can use it for other projects or touch up areas as needed. Kevin painted the exterior of my home with great care and attention to detail. He used top quality Dunn Edwards Evershield paint so the exterior finish looks incredible. It took a week to complete the project and the final cost was more than fair compared to other paint contractors. You can find painters who can paint for a little be cheaper, but you won't get premium paint or a painter who actually takes their time to mask off everything properly. read more

I need to paint my mobile home so off I went to yelp for help. Kevin, one of many painters I spoke to, is one of those hard sell guys who brags about how you'll get the best paint job, the longest warranty. Etc. His price was good so I was thinking about him but had a few more guys to talk to. The more I thought about it the more I realize that I didn't like the hard sell, never have and I found some reviews that concerned me. Everyone has a bad review or two but I just don't like feeling pushed. I had another guy hired and he quit when I found he was not giving me the warranty others were getting and he would not price match as he stated on Angie's List or Home Advisor. He was too busy. Another professional. The next morning I met with a guy I had not seen on yelp before. He gave me a great price, better than Any and His reviews are great. I like his demeanor so I decided to go with him. While on a call Kevin called. I couldn't get off so sent him to voicemail. He did not leave a message. He called a few hours later wanting to come over to seal the deal. I told him I was going with someone else. He asked why so I told him and he hung up on me. So professional. I found 3 guys with really good quotes and insurance and license. If you want to know then pm me. I doubt they'd hang up like a petulant child when someone told them no. Beware. Painting is not cheap. And you have to power wash your house first. I already had that done so that was not in my quotes. Also you can ask for cheaper paint. I don't need $50 a gallon paint in a crappy mobile home. Make sure you ask if doors are included. Some don't. That's an extra $100. So in summary. There are nicer and less pushy painters out there who don't seem desperate for the job. read more

I would offer Zero Stars, but that isn't an option on here. I text Kevin with Pro Painters, in an attempt to get a bid on a small painting job. And when I say small, I literally mean one small bedroom and one small bathroom. I have the paint, and already prepped the walls. I was gathering multiple bids, as that is a smart thing to do. Kevin came back with a quote of $600, which was double of another quote I received. I let him know that, and he became unglued. He asked if the person I got the bid from, "Lived on the street." I couldn't believe how absolutely rude he was. I explained that I already purchased the paint, and the walls were prepped. I did tell him painting, " isn't rocket science," because let's be real, it isn't. I would be doing it myself (which I have countless times before), but my time is stretched thin between school, and work. Needless to say he called me, Google searched my phone number, threatened me by saying he would call the police for harrassment, all because I told him that his $600 bid was too high. Unfortunately for Kevin and Pro Painting, my father was a contractor for 50 years, I will be reporting him to the licensing board, the BBB, and this review on YELP. I won't be cursed at or threatened because I didn't like his bid. I have enclosed some screenshots from the text message exchange. My husband and I need to repaint the interior of our home and were tasked with finding professional painters. We need our job done on a specific weekend and our timing is not flexible. So I went about calling multiple painters and getting estimates. Kevin is quite the salesman -- he certainly talks the talk. Beware -- he will make promises he cannot keep and claim to be the best, most professional painter out there. In fact, what happened to us is something I hope never happens to any of you. Kevin quoted us for the work, committed to doing the job, and cancelled on us the morning of. SHAME ON YOU. Is this how to run a professional business? Especially one with such obviously padded reviews as this one. We are extremely disappointed with Kevin's unprofessional actions. Due to his assurances and failure to perform, we are left hanging at the final hour with no one to paint our home. Out tenant are moving in, and this is now a complete disaster. As an aside, and because this will be relevant for other people considering using this company, Kevin went on and on and on about how skilled he is as a painter and how he's been in this business for X amount of years and why we should not work with anyone else. He's so good at convincing you, that you might actually believe him and decide to stop calling other painters for bids. But in reality, when he kept flaking on us and rescheduling, he kept mentioning that "my painters.." So it's clear he sub-contracts out the work. What a liar. Kevin and his Team at Pro Painters were exactly that--- very professional, insightful, intelligent and experienced. Pro Painters painted both interior and exterior of the house, and replaced/mended the stucco around the pool yard before painting. Kevin had quite a few recommendations on things to do differently than we had planned, and he was Correct on every change! We love the changes he made to our original thinking. The taping off skills were awesome, and they even painted behind all the plants and shrubs against the house all the way to the ground without getting any paint on plants or breaking any foliage. Talk about fast work too, they did it in less than half the time we thought possible. As soon as Scott entered our home I knew we would be taken care of in a positive way! Scott is very professional and exudes confidence! We talked about the job and colors. He sat at our kitchen table and wrote a contract on his laptop. A Painter came to our home. He removed the wallpaper one day and came back a few days later to paint. Scott tried to find some extra furnishings that would look nice in our home. My only suggestion for the Painter would be to ask the home owner where they want the brackets replaced.
