I just saw the option to update my yelp review so I wanted to add not only did Kevin owner, run off with my money and not paint or ever return the money but after I posted my honest Yelp review he emailed me threatened to skull whip and harm me threatening he knew where I lived. Not someone safe to do business with. Beware! FYI, I had to give a 1 Star rating in order to be able to Post was this review. read more

I wanted to paint two bedrooms and a bath in our home so I started to research painters in the area. I got in touch with Kevin and immediately had a good feeling about him. Our initial conversation about the estimated measurements and other general details about the rooms we wanted painted was given to him and he gave us a quote and set up a date and time when he can check out the space. Our home is only a few minutes from Kevin so when he came, he suggested we make a trip to Dunn-Edwards paint to pick out a color for the rooms. Once we decided the color, he was ready to work. Kevin is honestly great, prompt, and very honest about his business. He is articulate about the work he does and offers great costumer service. We are very happy with the results he gave us and would certainly do business with him again. 100% recommend him if you are looking for painters! read more

I am amazed by the high quality of service and excellent job that Kevin did on my home and the job was very affordable comparatively. The time and energy he spent on ensuring that the job was well done is unparalleled and he used the highest quality Dunn Edwards paint. His high level of knowledge and expertise are to be commended. He is an artist and is very meticulous. I nicknamed him "the paint professor". I am extremely satisfied and the before and after pictures are worth a thousand words. I give Pro Painters my highest recommendation. read more

Pro Painters did a great job on my house. Kevin was always on time and did what he said he was going to do. I trusted him and his crew in my home even while I was gone. He wasn't too expensive but also not ridiculously low priced, and that's probably because he used the top quality Dunn Edwards coatings, and he wouldn't use anything else lol. read more

My wife and I called Kevin to paint the interior of our home. The house had old wall paper and a patchy paint job. Kevin spoke with us at length and made us feel comfortable with his knowledge and ability. We had set up several quotes with other painters. Kevin was the second painter to come out and give us a quote. He was great, we felt comfortable with him and his price was reasonable. Kevin started the project the next day and was done in 3 days. Kevin took the time to text us as he progressed with updates and pictures. He also left the remainder of the paint so we can use it for other projects or touch up areas as needed. We are very pleased with the job he has done for us and will use him in the future. read more

Kevin painted the exterior of my home with great care and attention to detail. He used top quality Dunn Edwards Evershield paint so the exterior finish looks incredible. It took a week to complete the project and the final cost was more than fair compared to other paint contractors. You can find painters who can paint for a little be cheaper, but you won't get premium paint or a painter who actually takes their time to mask off everything properly. read more

I need to paint my mobile home so off I went to yelp for help. Kevin, one of many painters I spoke to, is one of those hard sell guys who brags about how you'll get the best paint job, the longest warranty. Etc. His price was good so I was thinking about him but had a few more guys to talk to. The more I thought about it the more I realize that I didn't like the hard sell, never have and I found some reviews that concerned me. Everyone has a bad review or two but I just don't like feeling pushed. I had another guy hired and he quit when I found he was not giving me the warranty others were getting and he would not price match as he stated on Angie's List or Home Advisor. He was too busy. Another professional. The next morning I met with a guy I had not seen on yelp before. He gave me a great price, better than Any and His reviews are great. I like his demeanor so I decided to go with him. While on a call Kevin called. I couldn't get off so sent him to voicemail. He did not leave a message. He called a few hours later wanting to come over to seal the deal. I told him I was going with someone else. He asked why so I told him and he hung up on me. So professional. I found 3 guys with really good quotes and insurance and license. If you want to know then pm me. I doubt they'd hang up like a petulant child when someone told them no. Beware. Painting is not cheap. And you have to power wash your house first. I already had that done so that was not in my quotes. Also you can ask for cheaper paint. I don't need $50 a gallon paint in a crappy mobile home. Make sure you ask if doors are included. Some don't. That's an extra $100. So in summary. There are nicer and less pushy painters out there who don't seem desperate for the job. read more

Kevin is fantastic. The first time I called him he told me exactly what he was going to do. He is very personable and knowledgeable at his craft. Kevin helped me pick the paint color gor the outside of my home. He suggested that I use two colors that blend. I took Kevin's advise and I could not be happier. He is very professional and he completely transformed my home. His prices were also very fair. I highly recommend Pro Painters. read more

I would offer Zero Stars, but that isn't an option on here. I text Kevin with Pro Painters, in an attempt to get a bid on a small painting job. And when I say small, I literally mean one small bedroom and one small bathroom. I have the paint, and already prepped the walls. I was gathering multiple bids, as that is a smart thing to do. Kevin came back with a quote of $600, which was double of another quote I received. I let him know that, and he became unglued. He asked if the person I got the bid from, "Lived on the street." I couldn't believe how absolutely rude he was. I explained that I already purchased the paint, and the walls were prepped. I did tell him painting, " isn't rocket science," because let's be real, it isn't. I would be doing it myself (which I have countless times before), but my time is stretched thin between school, and work. Needless to say he called me, Google searched my phone number, threatened me by saying he would call the police for harrassment, all because I told him that his $600 bid was too high. Unfortunately for Kevin and Pro Painting, my father was a contractor for 50 years, I will be reporting him to the licensing board, the BBB, and this review on YELP. I won't be cursed at or threatened because I didn't like his bid. I have enclosed some screenshots from the text message exchange. This is a perfect example why I get multiple bids, and read YELP reviews. read more

What a fantastic experience with Pro Painters! Kevin runs an honest establishment with great pricing. He took the time to explain everything despite that my house was a little out of his travel range. I work in the General Contracting business in Orange County and would recommend him to my colleagues. Thanks Kevin! read more

My husband and I need to repaint the interior of our home and were tasked with finding professional painters. We need our job done on a specific weekend and our timing is not flexible. So I went about calling multiple painters and getting estimates. Kevin is quite the salesman -- he certainly talks the talk. Beware -- he will make promises he cannot keep and claim to be the best, most professional painter out there. In fact, what happened to us is something I hope never happens to any of you. Kevin quoted us for the work, committed to doing the job, and cancelled on us the morning of. SHAME ON YOU. Is this how to run a professional business? Especially one with such obviously padded reviews as this one. We are extremely disappointed with Kevin's unprofessional actions. Due to his assurances and failure to perform, we are left hanging at the final hour with no one to paint our home. Out tenant are moving in, and this is now a complete disaster. As an aside, and because this will be relevant for other people considering using this company, Kevin went on and on and on about how skilled he is as a painter and how he's been in this business for X amount of years and why we should not work with anyone else. He's so good at convincing you, that you might actually believe him and decide to stop calling other painters for bids. But in reality, when he kept flaking on us and rescheduling, he kept mentioning that "my painters.." So it's clear he sub-contracts out the work. What a liar. DO NOT EVER CONSIDER WORKING WITH KEVIN OR HIS COMPANY. I will shout this from the rooftops. read more

Easy to work with, explained the job to me and did what he said he would do. Uses on untra premium dunn Edwards paint.

Kevin and his crew did an excellent job. Kevin came in and quickly helped us pick colors for our kitchen and living room that we are super happy about--which was a big deal because we were really struggling to pick our colors. He was very direct and informative and very honest about his opinion. He offered great advice and explained all the work he would do and how and why -- so we weren't left with any questions or surprises. He and his crew paid very close attention to detail and almost a month later now we are still extremely happy with his work and would recommend him to anyone and would definitely use him again. read more

I needed some drywall repair and some painting done and I had heard good things about NCP Painting and Drywall. I gave them a call and the owner Kevin was there lickity split. He was clearly very experienced and worked fast and gave me an honest price. I liked the fact he gave me several options to fit my budget. He was professional, friendly, and did excellent work. If you are looking for honest, skilled and affordable work, I would highly recommend him for all of your drywall and painting needs and I will deffinately continue to use his company in the future. read more

Pro Painters gave a me a fair bid, lower than most. Started 3 days later and finished in 4. They painted the entire house, including doors and cabinets, (inside cabinets also). Kevin sent updates during the job and stayed on it consistently. The paint was applied well, without any runs, sags or over-spray. He used Dunn Edwards paint and was very engaged in ensuring the quality was first rate. The job looks great! read more

Kevin was our fourth bid to paint the exterior of our home. He was very knowledgable about colors, how to pick colors and what would look great for our home. We agreed to the price, which was far below the other 3 quotes I received. We agreed to the start date on a Tuesday. He showed up on time, and the job was 99% finished by Friday. He came back on Monday to finish, and he painted the garage door to make the project look complete. He was professional, courteous, and got the job done. I highly recommend Kevin! Great helping us choose colors that matched our new roof as well as modernize the look of our house. Took a few days longer than planned, but the result was worth it. Kevin was willing to drive from Huntington Beach to Ranch Cucamonga every day to do this job and we appreciated it. read more

We have been putting off painting our home for years and finally decided to do it....We needed both the interior and exterior done. We had no idea where to start and spoke to several painters for ideas and estimates...once we did our research pro painters was at the top of our list,,,during the estimate we realized after listening to suggestions from Kevin we had no idea how much we didn't know about color selection and the wide variety of paint quality used in the industry....We went with Pro Painters and they have turned out to be one of the best contractors we have ever hired. They were on time (which is huge positive) and reliable. The job was completed on time and their detailed work was outstanding. We supervised their work everyday and they neat, respectful and would invite them back into my home anytime. I would recommend them to anyone considering getting their house painted! Thank you guys for the great work! read more

Wow. Kevin at PRO Painters knows customer service. Thank you so much for the upfront honesty. I appreciate the advice and price quote. The quote you gave me was about $1000 less than any of the 6 quotes I got from other companies. read more

Kevin did a awesome job turning over one of our apartments. I recommend his services.

Kevin and Pro painters did an exceptional and timely job on our new home. We lived a bit outside of his work zone but obliged to come out on several days notice and completed the job quickly. The quality in his painting and method to assure there were no runs, missed spots, and perfect edging is amazing. Professional and affordable as well. Thanks Kevin!! read more

Kevin and his Team at Pro Painters were exactly that--- very professional, insightful, intelligent and experienced. Pro Painters painted both interior and exterior of the house, and replaced/mended the stucco around the pool yard before painting. Kevin had quite a few recommendations on things to do differently than we had planned, and he was Correct on every change! We love the changes he made to our original thinking. The taping off skills were awesome, and they even painted behind all the plants and shrubs against the house all the way to the ground without getting any paint on plants or breaking any foliage. Talk about fast work too, they did it in less than half the time we thought possible. My favorite was that he stopped by the day after all was done and paid to do a final look around and spot check and little touch ups here and there. A perfectionist! read more

I had read the reviews on Yelp about Certa Pro Painters. Kevin was very nice on the phone. He sent Scott to our home to give an estimate. As soon as Scott entered our home I knew we would be taken care of in a positive way! Scott is very professional and exudes confidence! We talked about the job and colors. He sat at our kitchen table and wrote a contract on his laptop. A Painter came to our home. He removed the wallpaper one day and came back a few days later to paint. Scott tried to find some extra furnishings that would look nice in our home. My only suggestion for the Painter would be to ask the home owner where they want the brackets replaced. The job was well done and we were ready for house guests! read more

Kevin and his assistant did a great job on the interior painting of our home. We called, he responded quickly, and was able to work with our schedule, which meant get started and get done fast. Kevin was very clear on the process, the fee, and kept us in the loop every step of the way. I will definitely do business with him again. Stop searching and call Kevin! He's a pro! read more
