During the sales pitch I was told that my fence would last over 20+ years. I am attaching pictures of my fence after only 2 years. The horrible supposed cedar wood they used is failing. The majority of slats are starting to show holes where each knot is. Posts are splitting and screws are coming out of the fence! This fence won't make it 2 more years. Of course the small print says they don't cover knots. Well of course. Mae knows the cedar wood is cheap and faulty. We were happy when it was first put in. Now we are furious at the company for poor quality and lack of response. Their response was basically a form letter email on how to repair all the knots that are holes now. UPDATE: They sent Randy out to say the slats and posts weren't that bad and would only replace the bare minimum. Again, I got nothing from Randy in writing on what they were going to replace. All we got was a false claim of repairing the problem. If I said 4 slats needed replaced, they said 2. When speaking with service, the assistant Adam was in the background causing an argument with me so he could back out of repairs. I was at their mercy to decide. Replace very few slats and no posts or nothing?? They actually hung up on me. They are not going to appease me by replacing 3 of the 20 slats that are bad and multiple posts that are splitting down the middle. Through working with Mae Fence I have realized that they use poor quality material, their workers are subpar installers and their owners and customer service are full of charlatans that are looking for the cheapest resolution to a very serious problem They will probably try to say it was my fault. They are that type of company. People need to stand up to these current companies and their shotty work. Companies who thinks they can hide behind phones and false promises. Look at your contract and warranty on knots and holes. I would never hire them again for this shady practice. I will have to update this review every month to keep it up top of Google and keep the customers aware of the progress. Hopefully, I can help another person avoid the headache that is Mae Fence. The fence was installed in October 2024, and the final payment of $3,465.00 was made on November 6, 2024. During installation, the crew damaged a water pipe, which required immediate repair. My husband and I had to locate and hire an additional company to come out and fix the broken pipe. We paid for the repair out of pocket. As a result, Mae deducted $1,000.00 from the final payment, reducing it from $4,465.00 to $3,465.00. The business committed to providing quality services and products, backed by a lifetime warranty on the aluminum fence, a three-year installation warranty, and a one-year warranty on the gate, gate closures, and locking mechanisms. The nature of this dispute concerns issues related to the fence installation: 1a) Yard damage during the installation process. 1b) The gate closure is loose and unsecured. Regarding 1a, during the initial installation, the crew dug several large holes in both our yard and our neighbor's yard. These gaping holes remain unfilled, with no grass restoration, and present a physical hazard on both properties. Regarding 1b, the gate closure is loose, does not shut flush, and a nail has fallen out at the closure site. My husband and I have attempted to contact the company multiple times, but we have received little to no response. The takeaway is this: our yard is unsafe, and we paid for a fence that was improperly installed.

I am a traveling RN, and when I came home August 31, 2024; I noticed the fence falling apart, which included the footers being above ground. I tried to reach the office, and had to leave a voice message about the fence being warped. Later that day, Mr Jordan just showed up; and I just HAPPENED to come home from an errand. He was walking my property and taking videos of it, without speaking to my son who was at the house. I requested my money back and money to have the fence. He laughed, and told me that wasn't going to happen. He tried to blame it on the materials, but it is due to poor workmanship. After Helena the tropical storm came through our area, more warping and separation of the boards from the fence started appearing. The fence boards are turning green, the footers are coming out of the ground, the fence is sagging in areas, the gates are sagging, and there are areas where my dog can get out. The fence isn't a yr old, and there are 20yr old fences in better shape than mine. He declines to address the poor workmanship and replace my fence. If he would have done it properly, he would have had others reach out for a quote, but due to the poor workmanship and unprofessional behavior, he has lost business.

His 2 other crews had jobs at other locations , so he and his wife worked the whole day and got everything removed and cleaned up .
