Instead of actually massaging me, she just kept scratching the hell out of my legs and feet with her nails to the point it hurt--and I literally left with a cut on my ankle from her nail. On top of that, they didn't use lotion during the massage--just scrubbed our legs raw with that gritty scrub the entire time. Then the "hot stones" we were supposed to be massaged with? Used for literally 2 seconds before they slapped a hot towel on us and called it a day. The broken toenail I specifically asked to be fixed? She just slapped gel over it like I wouldn't notice. The paint job is disgusting--lumpy, uneven, already peeling, just horrid all around. My friend's pedicure was somehow worse--she bled because they filed her nails so short, and her gel is already chipping off less than 24 hours later. And the attitude at the end? Unreal. After the pedicure, the tech literally just sat there silently staring at me, waiting for a tip. When I stood up, she reached her hand out like "where's my money?" Not to mention she spent half the appointment talking about money and how she only does things for tips. $100 for the most rushed, careless, painful, and low-effort pedicures we've ever had. Disgusted and beyond pissed. Never again will we be returning to Suave Nails in Okeechobee Florida.

She used an electric file on the cuticles of my natural nails instead of pushing them and using a cuticle nipper. When the polish grew out you could see the damage. There is a grove where the file injured my nails. I cut them short and now need to wait until it grows out.

In my 12 plus years living in Okeechobee, Fl I've never felt so welcomed at a nail salon. The owner always has a great attitude and so far the nail technicians that have done my nails and my pedicures, are super nice. I never hear them turn anyone away considering they close at 6:30pm on weekdays and I usually come in a little after 5pm. Saturdays they close at 6pm and they're even open on Sundays until 3pm. I walked in and said I needed a fill. There were two women next to each other to my left, and one of them asked me to choose a color. I let them know that I wanted a design on one of my nails. They asked to see a picture, so I said that I wanted it to be fairly simple, and that it didn't need to be perfect, but "something like this". What I showed them was a seahorse outline in one color (navy). The woman who asked me to see the design and the woman she was working with started laughing and they said they didn't know if anyone there could do that. I decided to wait and talk to the person who would actually be doing my nails. When he came over, I pulled up the photo on my phone and said I didn't need it to be perfect, but something like this. Again. An outline of a seahorse in one solid color. Egged on by the first two, he started laughing, showed it to another worker, and all of them were laughing. The original woman then said to him/the other workers, "She just wants something simple though", and they started laughing again. (Before anyone mentions that there was some sort of cultural barrier - the acting ringleader- the woman who asked me to see the picture, made the initial comment and then followed up with the "she just wants something simple though" was caucasian.) I have been getting my nails done for the better part of 20 years now. I have never gone anywhere with an idea of a design and been treated in such an incredibly rude/incompetent way. If I've gone in with a tricky idea in the past (and I try not to!), I've always gotten some version of, "We will try our best", or "it may not look exactly the same", which I have and will always be okay with. The unprofessionalism was off the charts and I will never be back. I understand no one cares about one person not coming back, but I would advise a word of caution to anyone who has a ONE COLOR nail design that if they feel unable to do it, instead of owning it or giving you advice, they will point, laugh, and ridicule.

I was torn about waiting to get back home or find a place in Florida to get a haircut. Not only that, I had an injury and surgery to the left elbow making me compensate with my right arm causing a crick in my right shoulder, so I was also desperate for a massage in addition to the much needed haircut (don't like hair in my eyes). I was so excited to find a location that was able to take care of both situations at Bella Rose Day Spa. A bit unsure as the only recommendations were from Yelp. Rachel, who answered my questions when I called was able to set me up for the 2 appointments I needed. She was able to get the 2 services set up on the same day the week I called. I was so pleased. Amanda, who cut my thick hair, did it with precision and expertise. She was also a fellow history buff so we had lots to share! My haircut looks awesome! Christina, the masseuse, had magic hands that was able to relieve my shoulder discomfort with one treatment. She has angel hands! Truly amazing! The facility is clean, serene and comforting. I felt as if I was treated with professionalism and comfort to know that the 2 needs I had were well taken care of. I highly recommend Bella Rose Day Spa.
