Honestly I've had bad experiences at nails salons but I've never seen nails done as badly as my sisters. We both went together and I could just tell even from across the salon that she was getting botched nails. The lady rushed through them and did even double check to see if they were straight or not. She was very aggressive, and cut my sisters finger. She left crying and we had to go to another salon to get them fixed. The nails were sharp on the edges and overall just really the ugliest fill in I've ever seen. The lady at the new salon literally grimaced when she saw them. Station number 9 literally ruined my sisters Saturday. Don't trust her with your nails!

Staff was rude and it seemed dirty to me. I ended up at urgent care with a horrible infection to my finger nail. I'm sure it was from my manicure here. They also cut my toe pretty bad while filing and didn't seem to care. Never going here again.

    Another crooked nail

***Update: My no-chip lasted 7 days before it started lifting off my nails and chipping and my pedicure lasted 12 days before it started to chip. What a giant waste.*** Worst nail experience ever. If I could give negative stars I would. Tricked me into getting a "classic" pedicure by showing me a book with options. I said I wanted a regular classic pedicure which she charged me $40 for. I've never in my life paid that much for a pedicure. She used a green menthol cream on my skin and covered my legs with hot towels. By the time she removed them my skin hurt so bad the massage portion that followed (which is normally my favorite part) wax almost unbearable. I couldn't stand her touching me. She cut my toe nails too short and left polish all over my skin. Now for the manicure: She made my cuticles bleed three separate times in three separate places- twice with the nippers and once with the large orange buffer. She finally apologized after the buffer one. My nails are not filed straight. They're all different lengths. They insisted they didn't have the color I wanted in No chip and tried to push me to do dip (even with bloody nails-super sanitary). Finally they found a color similar in some cabinet. All in I paid $80 for an awful experience ($35 no chip, $40 "classic" pedicure, and $5 extra for a heart I wanted on ONE of my fingers). I just moved to the area from Chicago and have never paid that much... even in high dollar suburbs. Side note: they have something on their menu hanging on the wall that says "pedicure & no chip $48" they tried to tell me that meant if you got no chip on your toes. Sure. The one woman working there (without a customer at the time) was asking why the lady next to me wasn't working and said "no one works on Mondays anymore?!" I ignored her. The customer was so uncomfortable and replied that she had been responding to emails the whole time she had been there. Then this employee started commenting on this woman's weight and how she looked good. She even asked her if she had been on a scale. She was incredibly rude. They also told this same customer that her toe nails were too long and fought her on the oval nail shape she wanted. I'll never go back. Don't waste your time or money.

Acrylic with no tips with gel polish

I've been to Pro Nails in the past, but honestly I don't even remember the experience. I had my typical full set acrylic with tips and gel polish done at Diamond Nails in Valparaiso, Indiana and had a quite unpleasant experience. When I needed a new set, I knew I needed to try a new place. I made an appointment with Pro Nails. When I came in I was quickly greeted and when asking me what I wanted I told my nail tech that I wanted to remove my previous set of acrylic tips and apply a full new set. She recommended just removing my tips and simply using my real nails (they were long enough) and applying acrylic to them. We did so and I was so happy with the outcome. I showed her a color of the nails I wanted and she did it perfectly! Overall, I was so happy with Pro Nails and I will now only be going to them. Give them a try and you might just become a new regular like me!!

Went here for a gel mai/ pedi that only lasted 48 hours. Do yourself a favor & spend your time & money elsewhere!

Mimi is the new owner, she has been doing my nails for years and I am so happy she has her own shop now.

Awful experience. I went to Aqua Spa (instead of my normal place) on a Friday evening because a…read morefriend gave it a glowing recommendation. It was quiet when we arrived - again, Friday evening - so they were able to take me right away. I wanted a no chip manicure, including old color taken off (no tips). I believe my manicurist's name was Lydia. Good: - The salon was very clean and they asked me to use hand sanitizer when I arrived, and took my temperature. Bad: - I had only about three minutes to choose a color before someone came along and took the basket from me for another customer. Thankfully I had a good idea of what I wanted before arriving. - One of the UV lights she was using was broken. - She rushed through the manicure, even though the shop was half-empty. It was the least relaxing manicure I've ever received. The hand massage was basically non-existent. I realized after I was home that I missed the fact that she failed to push my cuticles back! - A dissatisfied customer came in while I was there. She was unhappy with the quality of her pedicure from a day or two before and was inquiring about having it redone. The gentleman she spoke to was rather rude. He suggested that she had messed the pedicure up herself after the fact, although she was talking about uneven edges and coverage. Ultimately, he wanted her to pay part of the cost to have it redone, and he was not friendly about it. (She left without remedy, by the way.) - I felt rushed out, and was charged $45 which didn't match what was on the sign. Admittedly, the sign was somewhat hard to understand and I should have asked. - After I had a chance to really look at my nails, I am beyond disappointed. There are two nails with clear brushstrokes visible. The cuticles and edges are uneven and sloppy. (See photos.) - After three days the polish is already chipping away on the sides and at the cuticles. I'm not even going to try to get it fixed after seeing how the other customer was treated. I'm chalking this one up to a loss. After thinking about it, I realized that the friend who recommended Aqua Spa doesn't ever get her nails done. She has probably been there for a special occasion or two, but doesn't get manicures with any regularity. So, that explains the bad recommendation. (Please ignore how small and strange my thumbs are in the photos!)
