And then, when I decided to sell my home, he took the listing and did an absolutely amazing job! He made it ready quickly, always being mindful of my budget,, priced it well, and got it sold almost immediately. If you're looking for a property manager or real estate agent look no farther!

First off they're so very "up to date" and "transparent" but then their website recommends sending…read moreVERY SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFO VIA UNSECURE EMAIL THAT IT IS WELL-DOCUMENTED THAT ALMOST ALL "FREE" EMAIL LIKE GOOGLE ETC. (WHICH MOST PEOPLE HAVE) SCAN FOR INFO THEY CAN SELL TO ADVERTISERS. I could never recommend them just for this one policy/ recommendation/ requirement. People have managed to accurately verify others' identities and histories without predatory and risky personal info practices for DECADES, and still can if they actually care about their neighbors and not just themselves and the owners. And are background checks done on owners? They can have violent histories as well, even if they have money or property, and be a security risk to their clients, and they have access to their HOMES AND BEDROOMS. And just because you CAN raise the rent hundreds of dollars upon lease renewal on a long-time years long tenant (that long because they pay on time and are good tenants) and up to the "market rate," and just because it is good for the owners' pockets and yours, doesn't mean its best for OUR COMMUNITY/ COMMUNITIES. You'd know if you spoke to even a couple of the single people, single parent families, other families, and elders, who I personally know, let alone the stories I just hear about over the last 5-8 years, who have been made homeless for months or even a few days or weeks because there's no concern for raising the rent in more reasonable increments that people might possibly be able to absorb over time... and keep being good and happy tenants! And boasting about 50,000 per year increase for landlords who don't actually care about their neighbors as themselves isn't a good look, especially when rents have TRIPLED in some cases in just 5 years... before that they were pretty stable/ rose maybe 5% a year on average for many years prior to that. But then at least you seem to actually repair things that aren't legally mandated, like the A/C when it goes out in mid-summer, unlike other common property owners I know of, so I gave another star. It's disheartening and downright infuriating to see so many people have moved here in droves from elsewhere, CLAIMING to embrace "conservative" values and then go on to clearly be ecstatic to just "get theirs" like almost every other "liberal" ever (I put both in quotes because apparently neither means anything such as truly caring what our Creator wants or what our fellow humans need and what benefits us ALL to build one another UP and to bear with ONE ANOTHER'S burdens so we're all stronger and more capable and resilient). I've been in multiple positions so I recognize comeuppance, the eagerness to gentrify and "make better" while actually pillaging (hello Garden City and Eagle and Kuna most recently) what used to be a state and communities that were a TINY bit affordable, especially for single moms and elders In particular. Regular people (also made in God's image though!) Could be your aunt or cousin, if not your child or parent. or do you think you and yours will never experience health or government problems or that your savings will never be drained or stolen by a desperate health challenge or divorce or abandonment or death or other person or a desperate government that's run up trillions in debt for us all while claiming they're needed and even doing God's will?

I was referred to Treasure Valley Property Management from a friend who is a raving fan of this…read morecompany that manages his Idaho rental properties. I am a Realtor in California and I have employed many property managers to service my rental properties in various states throughout the USA. This property was mis-managed by my previous "property manager" who let this home fall into disrepair. My property was on the rental market during the previous 2 months with my former property manager who failed to find a tenant. The owners at Treasure Valley Property Management went the extra mile to provide an accurate assessment of the local rental market and the condition of my rental property in Meridian, Idaho. I followed the recommendations from Ed and Elmer at Treasure Valley and they quickly executed their repair and clean up program with their crew during the Thanksgiving holiday week. One week later and during the slow rental season of December, Treasure Valley listed my property for rent and secured a qualified tenant. The vacancy period and related carrying cost was minimal and my property has been restored to prime condition. I highly recommend the professional services from Ed, Elmer and crew at Treasure Valley Property Management.

Renter(s) beware! Check out the BBB, Idaho court records and the Idaho Attorney Generals website…read morefor information on how to protect yourself against property management companies who prey on renters. I having owned several rentals properties are very familiar with the legal language in lease agreements and how binding they are. My wife and I found a property in Eagle and it turned out to be managed by Treasure Valley Property Management LLC. There is one statement in their rental agreement that wipes away and pretty much makes the initial and final walk through process null and void. It states; If further cleaning and/or repairs are required, Landlord will not be obligated to notify Tenant other than noting the deficiencies along with other charges, if any, on the security's/rent deposit refund request form, which will be mailed to Tenants forwarding address, provided one is given by tenant, within thirty (30) days from reviving keys in Landlord's office. There were several other read flags with the lease agreement regarding no mention how the security will be managed (I.e. Escrow account) which should be clearly stated. Also, that the 21 day rule according to the AG's to refund your security deposit was written as 30-days. I can go on but these are just the big one's other than a number of complaints with the BBB. My experience dealing with them, even though I have never rented from them, pretty much was dead consistent with the file complaints. It is very hard to get ahold of someone in the office especially over the weekend. I filled out my application on a Monday and didn't get a draft lease agreement until Friday. Then we went round and round with the language and they weren't willing to amend the statement above. Once the landlord takes possession of the property and the keys are handed over, the landlord can't arbitrarily add deductions from your final walk through. TVPM said we would have the right to sue if we had proof and I explained not with the language written that way; the renter essentially has no rights based on their lease agreement. Do you homework and if it doesn't feel right just walk away. This company is fee hungry and intends on keeping as much of the security deposit as they can. And as a homeowner and former landlord, I would never hire a company that isn't looking out for all parties; not just theirs and the fees.
