In today's world of comfortable, wicking materials, this store had many options to choose from. My daughter decided on a pair of comfy casual jogger-type pants that she can wear to work. I opted for a shift dress which I love. It's a rose color and made of stretchy, quick drying material. It's light weight and perfect for any summer activity. Plus it has pockets! The staff was friendly and helpful in answering our questions. Everyone was masked and counter and credit card machine were sanitized before each use. So glad we decided to drop in!

Then the CNBC tales of retail woes enter in the picture about waning retail. The employee walked around the store with me looking for what I wanted, pointed out alternatives and a 'possible' promise the item 'might' show up in store. If I buy on-line can I return to store if not right? Yes, no problem and that's the best we can do for now. Free shipping was explained about creating a profile on the company's site..ok more emails for awhile.

I went in and found exactly what I was looking for at a 25% discount (Still too much). The best part is Minnesota doesn't charge sales tax on clothes. 11% tax in Chicago, CROOK County & Illinois - 0% that's right ZERO PERCENT in Minnesota. Columbia sells good quality stylish products, but tend to be a little on the pricy side. I guess in part you are paying for the name. The style & quality are what keeps me coming back again over the years.

Selection at the store was somewhat limited, but they helped me to create an online order for all items I couldn't find in the store or needed a different size than what was available in store. The store selection was adequate to allow me to figure out which colors, sizes and fabrics were my favorites. BTW, their dressing room was FABULOUS - large, bright, and clean. There's even an interactive touchscreen device that shows you which items you're trying on, with similar alternative styles and colors. Evaluating value is complicated. I feel their products are equal quality to Lululemon and priced lower, but there are definitely lower cost options available elsewhere. I signed up for membership for now, but am not sure a monthly membership is valuable to me long term. I would not pay full price for their products.

I went in on a mission with limited time so didn't do much browsing. This isn't a huge store despite it being in MOA but there was plenty to look through! The cashier helped me search for any of that item left, and brought me to the shelf so I could pick it out. Another worker got me a fitting room quickly. She was pretty sales on the Athleta credit card, but I realize that's part of their job. I was able to swap my gift out for the one in the correct size very easily and quickly. Prices are quote steep for me beyond getting gifts here, but I've loved everything I've ever been gifted from here and the styles + quality is amazing!

I wanted to combine a coupon and she told me she couldn't without a barcode. She could have just over rode the process and added a $5 coupon especially when it is my birthday month and I am ordering shoes from there every other week. When I asked her name she said,"I'm Taylor go ahead and report me I'm the manager!" I said I know you're the manager and I will, she then proceeded to write the customer service phone number down on a piece of paper. I told her I already had the phone number. The poor girl who was trying to ring me up and work under this complete bitch. And the other customers who witnessed this lady act like an ass and represent famous footwear.
