The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem. And folks I had a sticky, disorganized, explosion of a problem. Enter Scrubs Cleaning Services. First, I adored that I could get an estimate on the Yelp app. Five local companies responded to me-- but ultimately Scrubs was who I chose. Second, the owner (Malinda) is so pleasant to work with. She provided tons of information via email, which is my preferred form of communication. I was scheduled the next week on my preferred day and time! Two wonderful ladies came-- Gwen and Marcia are freaking miracle workers. My house sparkles after their visits and they are very kind, professional people. Third, an invoice was emailed to me shortly thereafter. The pricing is on point and very competitive. It was exactly what we had discussed previously via email. And so it keeps going. If you have a problem, admit it. Call Malinda and Scrubs Cleaning Services. Get the sparkling house you deserve!

I was speaking with Alan, who had set me up initially, and I mentioned that I had purchased another property in Cedar Rapids and was looking for a service like the one he provides. Lucky for me they expanded and now have service in this area as well! I am a bit old school and am that guy that tends to call in from time to time but its is fairly simple to book regular cleanings at the new spot on their website. I've had a handful of cleanings done at the new location already and everything has gone off without a hitch. The great service, communication and honestly fair prices for the service. I can't recommend Maids of the Midwest enough. As a frequent customer this is what you want. Easy to work with and most importantly reliable. If I end up acquiring more properties they are the first place I will call to get cleanings scheduled!

The place is spotless (not easy in a household with three cats and two dogs), smells wonderful, and each time with amazing attention to detail. It's the small things that show they care about the quality of their work, like the way they fold the towels or toilet paper or make the bed or text a reminder the day before the house cleaning. I know it sounds like I'm easy to please, but that's not the case. I look for the details and am always satisfied. On the initial visit, they asked what I hadn't liked about previous cleaning services so they would be sure to pay attention to my particular preferences. That was a first. I highly, and without reservation, recommend Clean Queens PNW.

In short, you should have no hesitation or worry in hiring them for your job, big or small! They are my #1 company I will trust when needing work for myself, family, or friends. I had a pipe burst in my kitchen & caused damage to my kitchen & dining room. It caused warping to my subfloor, ruined cabinets, panty. Etc- a mess! Billy & Shawn came out & got straight to work! They eased my mind instantly as they have such a warm & comforting presence. They explain everything upfront & as they go, as well as always being available for questions or concerns. They are down to earth, reliable people that put you at ease to have on the job. They took a lot of pictures prior to starting which not only helped file the claim for my insurance but made sure to be here when the adjuster was out & helped me in the whole insurance process. Billy & Shawn were helpful every step of the way. They got all the work done FAST & were very clean- oh my goodness, they left my house way cleaner than when they arrived each time they came! They offered to help box up my cabinets/pantry, move 75 gallon aquarium, furniture, you name it- they didn't shy away or go without offering to help do anything that would help me. The receptionist/office professional, Lauren, is not to go unmentioned as she is truly wonderful as well! She is amazing at communicating, easy to get ahold of, is incredibly helpful, & so kind. She even spoke to my insurance to help move things along quickly too. I feel like I could go on & on as to all of the positives to each person & the completion of their work & still not do justice to how truly wonderful they all are- it's absolutely rare to have such dedicated, diligent, hard working individuals that are as kind as they are helpful & trustworthy! There is no way I would ever contact anyone other than them for future projects nor will anyone I know. My insurance agent even took their information to pass along as they were so impressed & noted how rare it is to find professionals like them! As a homeowner for over 20 years I've had my share of home repairs & the need to hire professionals for all types of jobs. I get so much anxiety from a few past poor conpanies, as many of us have, but this company is not that- Billy & Shawn at Performance Restoration go beyond what you would list for ideal qualities & performance of contractors/professionals you would want on your job. Our homes are not only the biggest investment most any of us will make in our lifetime, but also the most personal & valuable asset that doubles as our place of safety & comfort. Don't take shortcuts or make mistakes on who you invite in or hire to do work- Billy & Shawn at Performance Restoration are the only ones I can undoubtedly trust & reccomend in their business. You won't regret hiring the right people for the job- give them a call! -Mandy H Iowa City, IA 05/19/25 Edit- I almost forgot to mention they fixed my front door without my asking (was bottom of my list given the state of my house but frustrating & on my to-do). I still can't believe it. Seriously I could go on & on, & know I'm missing so much of how above & beyond they are individually & as a team but the best is just to call them & find out for yourself. They are a model of what not only good business but good people are. Note to the team: Thanks again to you all! I appreciate you beyond what I can express. MH
