I was up on a ladder doing some repairs and noticed they were still full of leaves. I got the hose and started cleaning them and realized that the down spout was clogged, which I was also able to get unclogged. My wife sent you pictures of the stuff that I flushed out, giving you the opportunity to contact us and make it right however two weeks later, we still haven't heard from you. So now you get a bad review!

I do not recommend DeGrange for several reasons:…read more - The floor is not level, and the surface coating that was used scratches easily and is not holding up like our previous oil based product. - Knots are not filled in properly. - There are depressions where knots were filled in or drawn on, as one of your employees filled them with the wrong color of filler, and then people had to use markers to hide things. - We still have bleed back of clear coat in certain areas. - There are dimples throughout the clear coat as it was put on thick, and you can see it foamed. - Swirl marks under the clear coat where it was buffed too aggressively. - Almost all rounded edges up against the carpet are all jagged and have blue tape and carpet fibers stuck in them. Quoting Ryan here: And if there are any issues caused by us then of course we will fix them if needed. He has not stood by his work, nor his word, and took money and ran. My first engagement with Ryan was him coming by the house to quote us on refinishing our hickory hardwood floor. He told me he would have a crew of people, that it would be 95-98% dustless, that we could get the color we wanted, that things would be level everywhere, and that the top coat would be extremely hard like our original oil based coating, as it would be a hybrid oil/water based product. We were quoted one week to get things done, possibly a Saturday. It took nearly 3 weeks, lots of me asking if they can fix issues, and more. Each time I was given excuses or reasons why things were the way they were. The last time they were at my house was April 30th, 2024. Decided to give it some time and reached out on June 26th, asking for someone to come by so we could walk through the remaining issues and see what could be done. I received no response. My wife called on July 1st and left a voicemail asking for some follow up, and that has also gone unanswered.

These guys did a horrible job! In haste when removing the baseboards holes were made in the walls…read moreand the baseboards were destroyed. While the flooring was being installed I questioned why all the cross seams were all even, in other words not staggered, the reply was that this way the way the boards came. Next to my bathtub and the exit to the garage 3/16" areas (strips) were left without flooring-just gaps which I had to fill and fix myself. They made a mess cutting the wood and made no attempt at any cleanup. I had to pay them to install new baseboards even though they destroyed what was there. Their work in installing the baseboards was lousy. They did not caulk the nail holes and they did not use a sponge or anything to remove the caulk they got all over the walls. Some of baseboard cuts and installation were so sloppy that I have had to pay to have them redone. Why would I do that. When I called them back to fix the things I was aware of I was told that if they came back they would charge me! This company is a young man 22-24 years old who this thinks he knows everything and his assistant, a more patient person but the one who advised me I would be charged for further service AKA completing the job. Last but not least I have discovered (by a pro contractor) that the door thresh holds were improperly installed so that the flooring would not float as it should. After demolition of patio began, they demanded an extra $600 due to the job entailing more work than planned totaling $4400. Left my landscaping and patio furniture covered in concrete. Didn't clean up broken pieces of concrete that were left at edges of patio and scattered about my lawn. After they had "completed" my job(6/15) I noticed some concerns(see below). I contacted the owner Bill. The response was not expected... he refused to even come look at my concerns. One of the most unprofessional and rude business owners I've encountered.

I had water damage in 3 rooms (bedroom, guest restroom and washroom) consisting of drywall damage,…read moreinsulation damage, base board damage and pergo/laminate floor damage. I contacted Sefik after contacting 2 other contractors. I had found Krajina Construction through the Better Business Bureau website and had a good rating and all necessary licenses up to date. Sefik came the same day for a review of the work and emailed me the quote that night. After reviewing his quote and comparing to another quote from another contractor I decided to hire Sefik. NOTE: This work was completed at least 1 month ago. I was quite satisfied on the day the work was completed (6 days of work total) but wanted to wait this long to give myself time to evaluate all the work done and do a "burn test" of the work. Sefik's work consisted of: - removing the damaged baseboards, drywall and insulation - replacing the damaged drywall and baseboards - taping all edges (90 degree corners and all other angles and curves) - matching the texture as closely as possible of the existing wall to the new drywall - painting of the new wall / baseboards During the removal of drywall Sefik also noticed a few improvements that needed to be made while the drywall was down in the wash room. Some of the plumbing he had noticed (and I confirmed) was not working correctly. Some of the shut off valves were frozen and needed upgrading to existing code and better parts. Again I knew of the frozen valves at least 2-3 years ago but was not in need to change them. Sefik did notice the valves and recommended the changes happen with the drywall down because any work done later on by another person would require ripping out a section of the new drywall he was putting up and repairing again. For this piece Sefik did the following: - cut and removed the defective hot / cold water valves for the washer - installed a new up-to-date box to hold the valves - installed the new valves and tested Other notes: - Cleanliness was great. Sefik lay down paper on all floor he would be working around to keep any dirt, dust, nails, texture and paint mess to a minimum - He swept each day all areas of the house that he was in - He was on time every day showing up at 8AM (as we confirmed each day) and/or within +-10 min of the hour - The work was completed 1 day over due to the extra work needed that was not found during the initial inspection. This was noted and approved by me in advance but mentioned here as sometimes the work reviewed at the time does not reveal all the damage once the work begins. - Overall quality of the work was awesome and I have kept his card on file for other work to be done in the house over the next couple of years (redo of kitchen (oven, stove, countertop etc) Give Sefik a call and at the very minimum get a quote and see what he can do for you. - taping the edges
