For anyone wondering, this poor excuse of a martial arts school has discriminated against my nephews with disabilities. I have a nephew with autism who recently earned his stripe, and they're now saying he, and his younger brother, don't have a quick enough reaction time to continue. Are you kidding me?! As a school centered on discipline, I'm shocked to see such discrimination take place. When you have students who don't react "quickly" enough, you continue working with them until they understand. You do not shun them away for not learning quickly enough for your taste. How dare you! My nephew excitedly showed me his belt when he EARNED it, he gets so stoked for taijutsu every week and comes to me showing me new moves. You've taken the excitement and passion my nephew has and crushed it for not meeting a pseudo standard. You have NO right to work with children if you cannot work with them equally. Keep in mind, my nephews weren't causing behavioral problems, they simply needed some extra help. I'll be damned if ANYONE takes opportunities to learn and grow away from my babies!!!

I told him I was about to have hip surgery. He said well just warm up with us go get on the mat. After I warmed up, he put me with his brown belt coach and we started to do some drills then he paired with me and we did some more drills. He told me don't live in the pain. He said you know where the pain is just do what you can, you don't have anything to prove. It was a great class.
