I got billed $224 for a telephone visit which never took place. The appointment was scheduled, I never spoke to the provider , ( they never called me) but are quick to bill me. I have called the office 3 weeks ago and yet to receive a call back or an email. They no longer seem to care and charge exorbitantly for the service which never happened. I am very disappointed with the team and am planning to change them. Stay away from this overpriced place with crappy service. You better off anywhere else.

Also, the office that offers to help you figure out your health insurance is staffed by people who don't understand how health insurance works, and become derisive and rude if you try to explain it to them. I listened to one of them sneer to one of his coworkers about the questions I asked him: I was in the hall outside of their office, and he didn't realize I was listening. "Can you believe that guy? . . . " began his diatribe about me, which went on for some minutes. I finally found a good health insurance attorney to work with, thank God, because the people in their office are clueless. If they cancel my next PCP appointment one more time, I'll have no choice but to go somewhere where the doctors are professional enough to at least show up for their appointments!!!!!

Well I finally found a new psychiatrist and therapist that help my mental health more than this office ever did. The staff is also changing all the time. I wonder why. In August 2022, the office was still very nice and had the most friendly staff with the most caring doctors and nurse practitioners you could find. Unfortunately, I wrote something that was a lot cleaner and organized than this, but it was deleted, and I am in too much pain to focus on writing that again. I have been dealing with a lot under unfortunate circumstances, and was not able to get in until January. I finally thought I was going to be treated right and I was going to be able to walk again. Unfortunately, no. They do not care. Recently After going to two visits, I received a letter that I was being booted from the practice within a month (ironic that the same day I received another letter on MyChart that another nurse practitioner was leaving the practice) even though I was not getting the proper help I am very very upset because I have been going here since I was about 15 years old, so I would say about 20 years and I was desperately hoping that I would finally be able to walk after three years. I cannot find another primary care for at least five months. Not one person had asked who the man was that called and canceled my appointments. I was literally stuck/held inside a house for almost3 years, my own house until somebody did something about the situation. I was not able to receive help for my health. The staff is now awful. Everything has changed. Everything. The receptionists are rude, you get hang ups and they show their true colors pretty easily. At my appointment with Courtney Tessani I had to ask her to look at back. She didn't once look at my legs or feet that I had told her were very swollen and I could not fit in my regular size shoes, I could not even fit in a shoe size that was over three sizes too big. She did not worry about my blood pressure that got to 220/110 and remained high while at the hospital. I told her would go a bit down briefly once I took my medication by 2 hours after taking it already would be through the roof again. She did not go for a quick two minute walk with me to see how the pain started and the other symptoms that happen when I am walking and standing, like the severe anxiety, dripping sweat, and how hard it is to breathe. She had nothing to say when I told her how weak my once in shape muscular body was now. She had nothing to say when I told her I couldn't even shower. Each time I will stand and end up sitting in there nervous how I'm going to get up and not fall; a mother does not want to have her kids see her like this, she doesn't want to have to call her 15-year-old son into the bathroom to help her up. After the first appointment, I got my x-ray and they told me I had some type of scoliosis, but they didn't think that would cause the pain I was having. But they never wondered or even talked about what the cause of the pain I was having was or could be. I had called after that and asked if she could order an MRI, and the nurse Zoe, who is supercilious and arrogant only, had told me her view on it..reminder, she is not a doctor. I had spoken with Dr. Tessani in the next few days at my appointment and I reminded her that in MRI and CT scan are very important steps to look into what the issue is for somebody who is in the pain that I am. I don't want any medication. I want to be able to walk again. I want to be able to stand up for more than three minutes, not leaning against something. I am not in my late 70s. I am 35 years old and this has been happening since June 2023. She said she was going to send something in for an MRI, I had called MtAuburn Hospital to book it a few days later and they are the ones that told me it was not approved which is shocking. But after I've been trying to speak with my doctor or any other doctors since February 20th (that day, they acted like they had no clue it was denied, which I know is false) I had to speak with Zoe again. She condescendingly talked over me the entire time and pretty much told me that the doctor wasn't going to order an MRI and CT and I had to remind her that between her and my last conversation I had seen Dr. Tessani and she did order it. After waiting longer, I had to speak with Zoe, again she was even worse if you can imagine and pretty much said that Courtney Tessani is not doing anything about the insurance not covering it because when she had ordered it, she basically said she did not think I needed it. So it goes to show you that Courtney Tessani does not care about my health, situation, and what she had sent in for the MRI showed that she did not care and pretty much told them that she did not think she thought I needed any further imaging or help.

Old Stinky P. spent two weeks at this facility after coming from Spaulding. Was not expecting much…read moreconsidering the comprehensive care he got at the other rehab. The facility is quiet and quite clean and pleasant. Luckily, Stinky got a room to himself even though it was a room for two patients. Wicked lucky! The nursing care was quite good and attentive for the most part. The nurse that worked during the day was very good, and am sorry, forgot her name. The nurses that worked during the evening shifts were awesome. RN,s Ed and Martin could not have been nicer and more attentive to the cranky old dude. The only slight downside was that a few of the aides were not all that great and a bit difficult, but most were ok. They did seem to work hard though. Stinky knows it is not the easiest job. They PT staff were very nice and were very good with their skills. The food was actually quite decent though and they seemed to want to please. That being said, Stinky would not want to spend another two weeks here if he didn't have to, but if he did have to he would put this at the top of the list of placement preferences.

Since their current president arrived several years ago, it has become a bottom-line business operation, consistent with her prior experience in the world of hedge fund-backed retirement care corporations. Today, safety takes a back seat here. Diversity is nearly completely absent among residents. Transparency in finances is lacking and leadership is arrogant and defensive. The one saving grace remains the staff who work with residents on a day-to-day basis. They remain caring, dedicated and thoughtful. But the community has become a commodity and the saddest part is that they continue to expand without addressing numerous substantial shortcomings.
