The other company came in $10k higher than Universal Jet. I told the other company I was waiting for a quote from another broker, and they came down $5k, then later another $3k, then finally another $2k and they were still $1,000 more than Universal Jet was from the beginning. Universal Jet gave me the best available price right from the start, while the other company tried to make as much commission on the same flight as possible. Next, when we there was an issue with the plane (the a/c went out), Christian at Universal quickly found us a replacement plane, and only a better class of plane was available, so he upgraded the plane at no additional cost to us! We were traveling to attend a funeral, and Christian knew it, so I can't say he would do the same in any situation, but he certainly took good care of us! Lastly, we have never taken a private jet before, but because we had to go quickly and didn't want to fly commercial during COVID we decided to splurge a little, and we were so glad that we did! The whole experience is amazing. You arrive just a few minutes before your flight, pull your car right up to the plane so they can load your luggage and a valet takes your car and has it waiting for you when you get back. The flight take off is so much smoother and faster than a regular commercial plane, and quieter during flight too. We brought our two dogs with us, and because you pay per plane instead of per seat, we brought a friend along with us too for no additional cost. I get why people fly private all the time if they can afford to- cause it's the best way to travel! And if we decide to splurge again, I'm definitely calling Universal Jet first next time!

I attempted to charter…read morewith Camilo Beltran's Vida Jets, Inc. to enable my family (including elderly mom with serious health issues and very limited mobility) to rapidly escape worsening hurricane conditions in Florida last month. Elite Air inc came to our rescue. Elite Air is outstanding from all perspectives and we highly recommend them! They offered and delivered exactly as promised on our chartered flight that came together very professionally after our failed Vida Jets, Inc. arrangements after waiting over 12 hours for the Vida Jets aircraft which never arrived. If your flight plans are extremely flexible then perhaps consider engaging in business with Vida Jets. It is high risk to accomplish a Vida Jets charter with reasonable and expected scheduling. They will not commit to a date, time or location. Our flight did not occur and they seized full payment for the flight. Their reasons for not satisfying the agreement (i.e. not providing the transportation as promised day, time, location, typeofplane) were not accurate and not valid. We spent the day and night at the airport observing flights arriving and departing on schedule well in advance of the hurricane. The Director of General Aviation at the airport confirmed they sustained full operational capability throughout this timeframe and yet this one company eventually disclosed they might be able to provide the flight over 24 hours after the original commitment and even to a different airport only. This company was the only one having problems and all signs indicate they were self-inflicted by their own questionable business tactics. Beware, consumers.
